No longer supported
Despite charging for the app, it is no longer supported and crashes when opening under iOS 16 and newer. Listing this app despite this is false advertisement. Remove this app and reimburse your customers!
Frustrated2
Just as another reviewer indicated, New Year's Day is now appearing on every day of my calendar from 2017 through 4018 and no matter what I do I can't remove it. I've even deleted the app. I do not have Outlook exchange I use google mail. I have tried contacting support via the app and via the website but no path for communication exists. Please help to. Lear New Year's Day from my calendar.

Clear, Effective UI
I have been using this app since 2010. The developer has effectively resisted adding eye candy, social media connections, etc.

You can get as granular as your want for counties, religions, social topics, etc. and then when you want to see what's coming up, the informations is given in a straight forward list view. At the top of the list on the top right and left are buttons to step back and forward is years...the year is on each button so you can quickly see past/future holiday day & dates.

Frustrated
I'm so frustrated with this app. In my calendar there is an entry for New Year's Day starting on Jan 1, 2016 and ends on Jan 2, 4017. I can't edit or delete this entry and when I try, the screen freezes. I have to close the calendar completely in order to open again to see the days. And now I have contacted support and cannot get a response. I would love to just be done with this app but so far I will have to see it until the year 4017!!!
UPDATE: Udo, the software guy, emailed me. He said the problem is when it is on an exchange server. He told me to delete New Year holiday w the Outlook calendar. It worked!!! Thank you, Udo.

Ok, but needs work
I noticed that I have to check the year each time I open app as it defaulted to prior year. Somehow it appears that it does not know the current year.

Needs to be corrected
I know it's not important to many but Seward's Day is never on a Tuesday. Always the last Monday of March.
A pretty good app
This app is very in depth... And does't miss any holidays. It would be five stars if I e function was added... The ability to a reminders to the holidays. Example. Valentines day is in two weeks. So you have time to buy gifts is the day requires. Other then that it is pretty cool.

I have been dying for a calendar since receiving iPhone 3years ago.
Great app
Great app, now I have all the holidays that i want on my iPhone calendar. I'm new to the iPhone(several days), but it is an easy app to use. It syncs to the calendar quickly, so the people below who have complained about it not syncing simply didn't know what they were doing & quickly complained. It's a several step process, select, hit done, hit sync button in lower left corner, wait a minute, then when start lights up, hit start. Just that simple.

I dont know why some people below me are having trouble. I guess they dont know where is the sync button to sync selected holiday to the iPhone calendar. I found the sync button and work like a charm. Now i have all federal holidays and religious holiday on my iPhone calendar.
Thanksgiving is not listed
The "Holidays" app I downloaded does not list Thanksgiving as a holiday for 2011 or 2012. Since those years omitted it I presume it is missing for follow-on years. Makes one wonder what other holidays are missing. Not good!
Not a Calendar!
This is not a calendar only a list of holidays' dates.
It will let you know which day is next if you hit the little forward button on the bottom.

Waste of Money
This calendar does not sync with the google or iphone calendar. If I want to see a holiday, I have to go to that calendar. That extra step does not save me time. I can find out myself when the holiday is instead of opening this app.
Sweet app, need to have one!
I will give it 5 stars if Polish language will be available from the app, please? It's a great app just Polish is needed with Polish holidays.
Holidays Calendar
Sorry to say that I thought this "calendar" would somehow, maybe magically, place the holidays that I selected on my "real' calenday. Just because I have one on a Palm Lifedrive that did just that, I figured this one would as well. Well, shame on me. This is a cute program that is a list of holidays that does not have anything to do with a calendar. Sorry, but this was a waste of money.

Great app!
This is the best holiday app so far, but could be improved by syncing with iPhone calendar. Also would like to see Chinese New Year added, specifying date and year of which animal.

A few I noticed that were missing:
Passover
Washington's Birthday
Income Tax Day
Grandparent's Day
Election Day
And it would be nice if Daylight Savings Time was included. Even though it's not a holiday, it would be helpful to have those dates so we know when to set our clocks back/forward.
