Very happy with these mics and app
The whole mic system and app is well thought out. I’m not sure why so many people are having issues with both but for us this whole set is really nice. I use this set to record lectures (halakah and workshops) onto my MacBook with Audacity plus processing them with the Platinum Notes and Hush apps and upload them to my google drive account so anyone with the folder link can hear them when they can’t attend the programme at the masjid (mosque). This set is very valuable for us. Well done Hollyland!

Every update wipes out devices
It seems after all the recent updates, which are frequent, all the devices I added and set up are gone, and I have to re-add them to the app again. That makes no sense and is not a good experience.

Horrible mic and app
Mic says it’s connected and then doesn’t work. App constantly says my adapter isn’t plugged in when it is and lighting up. Just never worth the money and I want a refund
Kickstarter I was hopeful
I bought the basic device hoping I could use Bluetooth to use headphones of my choice. They will not pair. Also, the app fails to load presets. That’s like a huge percentage of the functionality so hopefully fixes and firmware happen soon.
Blue plastic on mics
After I removed the little blue plastic off the charging area on mics, everything worked perfectly. Just softly rub that area with your nail and the piece should peel off. Afterwards, I placed the mics back in the box and saw the mic lights come on. I did have charging cable connected to box when doing so.
I bought the A1 or cheaper combo mic set up. However, software works perfectly and sound is A plus! I’m still using a IPhone 13 and everything works perfectly! Had for a week, so keeping my fingers crossed! I did not update the firmware yet. If you do, make sure everything on and connected before doing so. Hope this helps

Never use this app
Slow and very glitchy ads pop up in your face overall just horrible.
Don’t work with lightning anymore
I was using this app with my Lark A1, but after update I can’t connect the receiver with the app, it can’t recognize. I’ve tried with other devices who use usb-c and it’s fine, but every lightening connector is broken.

Best noise cancellation mic
Loved this mic and the best part is noise cancellation and stereo / mono sound effect, helping me record my videos, meditations, courses, in the comfort of my home rather then going to studio.

Poor execution
Good idea. Terrible execution. App doesn’t connect with my Lark Max 2 when the units are out of the charging box, which makes it pretty useless. Shocking that they let such poor products out of the door. Disappointed.

Not connecting to iphone 16 ro max

I purchased a new LARK A1 USB-C version.
The microphone works perfectly on:
* iPhone 14 Pro Max
* iPad 10th Generation
However, on my iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 26.5:
* The receiver is detected.
* The USB accessory icon appears.
* The app shows a check mark on the USB Connection screen.
* The app never proceeds to the full control screen.
* Camera, Voice Memos, and WhatsApp do not record audio from the LARK A1.
I have already:
* Reinstalled the app.
* Reset all iPhone settings.
* Confirmed the microphone works on other Apple devices.
Could you please advise whether there is a known compatibility issue with iPhone 16 Pro Max and iOS 26.5, or whether a firmware update is required?

Works great
So it’s not the most fully featured app, but connection on my iPhone 15 Pro was without issue. Maybe some sort of recording in app would good, but honestly not necessary. The mic works great for my podcast, so recommend.
