— Send Contact Tap “+” icon of the chat bottom panel and select a “contact” icon. You will be able to share any of your contacts with your friends. — Data Storage Settings and Clear Cache Feature Use a new “Data Storage” section of the Settings to check your current cache usage of Holvox media and to clear cache for all conversations or selected ones. You can also set how long Holvox should keep your media inside the app. — Message Draft When you have a not sent message, you will see a “Draft” label near that conversation in the “Chats” screen. — Support for iPhone X — Send files/texts from other iOS apps Now you can send files and texts via Holvox from other iOS apps using iOS “Share” action popup dialog. After tapping a “Share” button you will see apps that can be used to send your data. Scroll to the right, tap “More” and activate “Holvox”. After that choose “Holvox” app icon to send your data via Holvox. — Voice message experience improvements Voice message sending experience and design was improved significantly. If you need to record a long voice message press the microphone icon inside the chat and move the icon up a bit to lock the recording, and you will not need to keep the button pressed. — Automatic recording of a voice message Open the chat that you need to send your voice message to. Bring the device to your ear, Holvox will automatically start recording your voice message. After bringing the device away from your ear the voice message recording will be stopped. — Contact “Info” and “Keypad” screens design improvements — Location sending and viewing experience significant improvements — The experience of searching inside the chat was improved — Improvements to the “Forward” function Now you can select several contacts and group chats to forward your messages to. — “Send Contact” function improvements After selecting a contact to send you can edit the name of the contact and deselect/select phone numbers to send. — Send any type of file Now you can send almost any type of file using Holvox. Just tap “+” inside the chat, then “attach” icon. — Search by contact and date We have added the ability to search by contact and date in group chats and by date in one-to-one chats. — Improvements for iPad — When the contacted person’s phone number is not in the list of contacts you will see a special label “This number is not in your contacts” inside the contact’s “Info” screen. Just tap that panel with the label to add that phone number in your contacts or to block that phone number. — Re-design of the messages bubbles We have improved the design of the chat messages. — Send any type of file without limits Previously, we have made it possible to send almost any type of file using Holvox. Now Holvox supports all file types. Send any type of file without limits. Just tap “+” inside the chat, then “attach” icon. — Deleting the history after signing out After signing out the app will ask whether you would like to delete or keep your messages and call history. — Getting photos and videos from iCloud If you have activated “Optimize iPhone Storage” for your photos and videos in your device settings, then after selecting to send photos or videos that are stored in your iCloud, the app will get them from your iCloud and send automatically.
