Bare Bones App
I’m not sure how this app is different than just putting items into my calendar with a repeat option.
If I was the developer, I would add these functions:
1) A description or instructions (or a link to) about the task. If I’m a first time home owner, I may not know what some of these items are.
2) A “notes” area where I could add information about products I used, challenges I had.
3) The ability to upload photos and images of receipts
4) Customized options based on -
The style or type of home I have (I. E. Flat roof vs. shingles)
The climate I live in (cold snowy winters vs. tropical)
5) A budgeting option
6) A profile option where I could add the date of purchase, insurance or mortgage information, etc
7) The ability to include more than 1 property
This app could earn revenue for the developer by:
- Suggesting contractors
- Suggesting products
- Linking to a blog or including a subscription to articles about how to do home repairs
Autosist is an excellent app I use to track my car maintenance. If your app had similar features, it would be much more helpful and valuable.

This app allows you to keep all your home care reminder in place. New update will create a task in the calendar whenever new task scheduled in the app. Thank you for your feedback. I will try my best to incorporate them.

New version will have some new features and fixed old problems with app. Thank you again trying out.
Issue with setting due date
App keys off the date you add the reminder and does not let you set when the events are due.
Also, it scrolls like the frequency of tasks are editable, but it does not actually change the setting.

Due dates
All of my task are coming due on the 24th day of the month, regardless of the date they were completed on. I do not see a way to change this. Even if I do something on the 2nd day of the month for a monthly item, the next due date is the 24th. Please review your logic and code for calculating the next due date.

Helpful, but needs updates
This app set itself apart among the several different apps I tried out to keep track of my home maintenance needs, but I would appreciate a few updates:
1. When I try to reorder the items so that like items are near one another, the app crashes. When I reopen it, some of my tasks show up having been moved to a different category (monthly tasks are listed under semi-annual, for example). Please shore up the reordering functions.
2. Being a “weekend chores” person, I would appreciate an option allowing me to select a particular day of the week on which to receive notifications instead of simply scheduling a task for exactly a month away. If I get a reminder on a Tuesday, but I won’t be able to get to the task until Saturday, sometimes the reminder gets lost in the shuffle.
3. Do the names of tasks have to be in all caps? A combination of uppercase and lowercase letters is much easier to read.
4. I like seeing the scheduled date for the next completion of a task, but once that date comes and goes, I’d also like to see a “task last completed on” date or a “# of days overdue” counter. This would provide a greater incentive to complete the task.

On the right track
This is a great start for maintenance tracking. A few requests/suggestions, add weekly section, ability to add notes/pictures, editable tasks, backup/export capability, and upcoming tasks.

Reminds me to do essential home maintenance I would otherwise not think to do. Great Idea!
Brilliant reminder app for the busy homeowner
What a brilliant way to take care of all the task for home. I like the fact that you can add more reminders, delete those that don't apply. Also the ability to add in the service company is great.
Improvement suggestions:
1. Add in the ability to send a reminder email directly to the service person. Also Perhaps, the ability to aggregate all tasks for one service person in the window of a time frame would be great a that way we can schedule multiple things in one service request.
2. Provide a visual snapshot of all items coming due per month or in a year.
