It washes my dishes!
17th update but still not fixed!
This is the 17th “Bugs and fixes” update for 2026 (plus one machine firmware update) and the “Detergent Drawer Open” warning has still not been fixed, as was promised by the support team in 2025. It occurs every time the washing machine is turned on. Three physical parts were changed under warranty before they decided it was a software issue which they are now ignoring.

Great UI but keeps losing appliance
The UI and functionality of the app are great, and can be really useful when it is working.
Unfortunately the app quite often cannot find my Bosch dishwasher, and usually the only solution is to remove and re-add the dishwasher, which only takes a few minutes, but can be quite inconvenient at times.
I appreciate this may be an issue with the dishwasher itself, but the previous Bosch app did not seem to have this issue. The combined multi-company app has this issue several times a year.

Disappointed in how the App is so awful
Had the dishwasher since the start of 2026 - I don’t find the App very easy to navigate. Not what I had hoped for when I ordered a wi-fi smart dishwasher.
Slowest neff we’ve ever had
The app and latest dishwashers are really poor with slow programs, you can download quick programs and save to the favourite button, but it resets to 5 hour eco program every few days. The last neff dishwasher we had was brilliant and lasted 8 years with 2-3 times per day use, the latest one is very poor and we’re looking to swap after just a month of use.

Problems with connection devices
Tried 1000 times to connect only one devices was picking it up. Then we changed the network and can’t switch the hob to connect to the new network

Great app
This app has never once failed me when used with my dishwasher. It’s helped me save money as I’m on a variable rate electricity account. I can just program it for the cheapest time of the day without any nonsense.
More useful that I expected
It’s a bit easier to adjust the programme settings in the app, and I like that I can set a start time as an absolute time of day.
Not so good - the app has a habit of losing connection to my dishwasher while setting up a programme, which then forgets what I’m doing and I have to start again.
Fix the connectivity issues and this would get 5 stars.

Is Bosch accessible enough to buy??
"i need a new washing machine. I'm blind and can't use the controls on the front of most machines, they're touch screen and don't talk. So I'm reliant on apps which do talk!!
You've not supplied any accessibility info to Apple App Store about whether it's good with the Voiceover screenreader. Please can you give me confidence that I should spend 700 quid on a Bosch washing machine because I'm unlikely to if you can't commit to accessibility on your app page. I see back in March that someone praised the accessibility but I'd really like you guys to officially explain your access and give me confidence that the next app update will remain accessible and mean I don't have to take my clothes down to the river with soap and a washstone instead. Please? Commit? Tell Apple? xx

Poor to connect.
When appliance is registered but fails to connect it tells you that you can register them again on the network (if you made changes) but not how you do it. Considering the app name that’s embarrassing

Often disconnects from wifi - difficult to get to reconnect - much more trouble than other IoT things
Fails to reconnect after a power cut
We get power cuts every now and then as we live out in the country. I have probably around 100+ items including phones, tablets, computers, heating, pool connectivity, smart plugs, bulbs, Apple TVs , televisions, Alexa devices, washing machine, CCTV cameras, you get the idea all connected to my WiFi. The Bosch dishwasher is the ONLY appliance that needs to be hard reset with an unplugging to reconnect to my WiFi once it loses connection. Why? Bug fixed didn’t include this obviously. Try harder as this is rubbish. It’s 2026 not 1996.

App not intuitive to use
It’s almost too clever for its own good and forces you towards using the preset programs which are not necessarily what you want to use. But the most irritating thing is that to control the washing machine via the app, you need to physically select “allow remote start” on the machine after every time the machine is powered off and back on again, even though the app is WiFi connected to the machine.

It almost never remembers that I have set it to smart start
I have to set the timer every time I use it. Also when setting to start at a different time it then jumps in and changes to the smart start time. It’s been like this for months

Inconvenient
This seemed a decent app. However it logs me out every single time I use it. I stopped wasting my time using it.
Ruined by single key ID
This was a good and useful app until it was linked to single key ID. It now doesn’t work at all now for me so will shortly be deleted. Why on earth have they tinkered with something that was a 4 or 5 star app that was working perfectly well?
Ridiculously complicated
The app is just so busy, fussy and makes simple programming feel impossible
Very poor
Looses all your information when it updates. I’ve logged in again , all my appliances are missing!!! Extremely frustrating and useless app when it does this.
