About

Home Floorplan gives your Apple Home setup a visual control layer. Place accessories on a floorplan, open room details, control lights, climate devices, sensors, covers, locks, and scenes, then build automations with a focused editor designed for real homes. The app can help you understand environmental trends, review smart home habits, and generate optional AI-assisted suggestions when you choose to configure an AI provider. Your home remains under your control: HomeKit permissions are required for accessory access, and AI features are optional. Key features: - Interactive floorplan for HomeKit accessories - Room-based accessory overview - Scene and automation creation tools - Environmental dashboard for compatible sensors - Smart suggestions for comfort, air quality, and routines - Optional AI assistant for reviewing home context and actions - Local-first saved floorplan and app preferences - Home Floorplan is designed for people who want a clearer, more spatial way to manage a HomeKit home. Some features require compatible HomeKit accessories, sensors, Apple Home permissions, and optional provider configuration for AI features.

What's New in Home Floorplan

Home Floorplan comes to iPhone, and gets a new look. IPHONE You draw your home on iPad, where there is room to build it. On iPhone you get it back to read and to control: open a floorplan, see what is on and what is not answering, tap the device you need. • A new home screen with your floorplans up front and, below them, Environment, Security, Intelligence, Accessories, Scenes and Automations • Markers redrawn for a narrow screen, readable even with many devices • The Home AI assistant within reach Nothing changes on iPad: floorplans, editor and tools stay where they are. A NEW LOOK Controls, panels, bars and the assistant adopt the Liquid Glass. Turn it on in Settings › Appearance, along with markers and the screensaver. • The chrome over a floorplan follows the drawing's brightness rather than the iOS theme, so controls stay readable on a light plan in dark mode • Brand colours finally have real dark variants • Touch targets raised to the recommended minimum: fewer taps that miss PANELS REBUILT • Environment rebuilt around what you look at first, with weather and home health together • Security shows the coverage you actually have instead of a device list • Intelligence groups situations by severity and no longer repeats the first one at the top • The Scenes panel becomes a column: controls stay put, the list scrolls FIXES AND PERFORMANCE • Switching to dark mode no longer freezes the app with a floorplan open • Faster start: the floorplan is no longer repositioned every time the bar is measured • Fixed a crash on the very first install on a new device • HomeKit permission was only requested on the second launch on a second device • In portrait on iPad the top controls no longer overlap.
