About

Home Sync Assistant keeps your smart home telling the same story in two places. It compares the rooms, names and placement in your home app with the areas, names and placement in Home Assistant, then copies your choice from one side to the other. You pick the direction every time. Every sync starts as a preview that lists each change, and nothing is written until you apply it, so a rename or a move never happens by surprise. WHAT IT SYNCS - Rooms and areas: create the ones that exist on only one side - Placement: put each accessory in the matching room - Names: give each accessory the same name on both sides MORE THAN ONE HOME, MORE THAN ONE SERVER Add every Home Assistant you run, browse what each one exposes, grouped by area and searchable by name or entity ID, and choose which pair to sync each time. Your setup follows you: servers and choices are shared through your account, and access tokens through your keychain. A LOCAL API, IF YOU WANT ONE Turn on a small HTTP server and read or change your home from your own scripts, shortcuts and automations, without this app in the loop. BEFORE YOU START Your accessories must reach your home app through the Home Assistant bridge integration. That is what pairs the two sides: it writes each entity ID into the accessory, and this app matches on it. Anything that arrives another way is listed, skipped and left untouched.
