Mostly useless

The app itself is well designed and provides great information but I paid for notifications and I haven’t received a single notification about batteries dropping below my set thresholds and double checked all my settings so not sure what is going on but I have had multiple batteries die without warning.

Update: Developer reached out to me and suggested to set up a data refresh shortcut and this resulted in me finally receiving a low battery notification. Absolutely ridiculous that this isn’t baked into the app and also isn’t made clear anywhere that these steps are required to make it work. It’s obscured behind a menu item in the app settings. Adding a star just based on the customer service.

Solid and useful

At a glance I’m able to see the battery status of all of my HomeKit devices.

Push notifications not working

I followed your tutorial to set up the automation process for checking batteries, but the only push I receive on a daily base is that the automation failed.
I have deleted and re-created it accordingly to your advice, but the result stays the same. Which renders my subscription to your app worthless.

Benachrichtigungen besser planen

Great convenience

Handy, simple, reliable tool keeping my many battery powered devices online.

Reassurance

Love this app, works in background, alerts me when batteries need changing. I can see what charge my 16 batteries have. Love that you can change alert threshold. You can log when you change batteries and what batteries you need. Helps to keep my smart home working.

Ridiculously high constant CPU usage

Will not end process, persistent reactivation, constant 40-60% CPU usage with constant spikes over 400%. I will not be using any of the apps from this developer any longer.

Nice to have

We have so many batteries - I’d love a feature to sort by battery %

Good idea

And a good app to keep track of multiple locations.

Useless for Hue

Pretty useless if you have a lot of Philips Hue devices. Non of them detected with device type or battery type. Battery status or charge level isn’t shown even if you add them manually. Canceling subscription.
Not worth it as is.

Does one thing and does it well

Dirt simple app that does one thing and does it really well. It’s surprising how handy it is to just be able to see the battery status of every HomeKit device in a single screen. There’s no fluff here, no code-for-the-sake-of-code. It focuses on the task at hand and I appreciate that.

Brilliant app, brilliant service

I had a problem with my in app purchase. The dev has been brilliant in sorting for me. In regards to the app itself, I have a few apps which detail my battery status. But nothing comes close to this app in terms of detail and UI. Highly recommended for anyone who runs a smart home.

Not worthy for the cost and not fixed bug

It may be worthy for the initial one time purchase when this app was out. But definitely not worthy when it was switched to subscription. What continuous cost on developer side that deserves a subscription considering the functionality of this app?
Secondly, there is a constant bug that the developer never bother to fix: if you happen to have two different HomeKit accessories with the same name, you can not set different battery info for them.

Response from developer

Hi, The ongoing cost is for my mortgage, food and other bills and allows me to work on apps like this full time. I am currently working on a fix to that bug and hope to have an update ready soon along with some other new features. Apologies it has taken a while to get it fixed. Please feel free to email support@adamfoot.dev if you have any further issues. Thanks, Adam

Lost data

It deleted all of my battery info between the last time I looked at it now. Fail.

Paid app that went subscription

I bought this app and it went subscription. I guess that’s fine since my purchase was maintained, but when I open the app I get an ad to upgrade. It’s very annoying. There’s no option to turn it off from what I can see.
