Apple Watch interface - needs massive work

The main/only reason that I downloaded this was for the Apple Watch interface which used to be native on the legacy Insteon app. I just simply want a list of devices to pop up that I can control. Now that I am Apple Watch Ultra, I thought this would be even better. Unfortunately it looks like the only thing this has is Fav Scenes. Not something I really even use nor was looking for.

I am hoping that this will have a navigable interface on watch and be able to list devices as well as scenes in the very near future. Currently no thought went into the watch interface at all.

Display option only

The Insteon app is no longer available so this allows me to view my Insteon devices and schedules. However, the existing schedules are not editable. Frustrating to be able to view and not change.

Clean look

A very nice interface for my Insteon system. The modules respond very quickly to commands. This is a simple app and a pleasure to use. Please add sensors for a full-function application. So far though, this is a real winner and greatly appreciated!

Works as it should

I was a beta tester for Insteon’s new app through testflight. That allowed me to use 2 different apps to control my 2 locations without changing locations in the original Insteon app. Very handy! Well the beta version went away, so I went looking for another app to control my 2nd location. This one seemed to be a good choice while reading the reviews in the App Store. So, I installed it and am real happy with the app.

Provides a clean alternative to Insteon App

Glad Homeboy continues to make updates. The app works great. The interface is clean and provides a single pane of glass to view all your devices. Thermostats are supported! Thanks!. Load times for device status can be slow but that is with Insteon itself not the App.

To control only what already exists, really?

Fail to see advantage as can’t configure anything, only option is to execute a given scene or device. Feels like once I provide my Insteon login credentials this app only has read-only ability to do anything.

Excellent App!!!

Just installed on my phone. It is super easy to setup. It’s quick and responsive and does everything as advertised. Not flashy but I’m sure that’s why it performs so well. Great job!!!!

Simple and it works

For the longest time I have not been able to use my Insteon app on my phone it won’t let me log in despite changing the password and contacting there support. This app now let’s me control my Insteon Devices again! It’s simple and works and that’s more than I could ask for! Highly recommend.

Ok App -- but needs work

The app functions pretty well and seems quicker and more responsive than the Insteon for Hub app. However, (IMHO) the graphic interface is pretty lame, unnecessarily colorless and boring and does not make a good use of screen real estate. The real bummer for me is no support for my cameras -- which Insteon for Hub does quite well.

Better than Insteon app

I really like this app and prefer to use it over the main Insteon app. It's more responsive and intuitive.

In the Settings tab of the Homeboy app, there is a preference named "Keep me signed in". By default it is disabled for security reasons. However, if you enable this preference, Homeboy will automatically sign you in when you open the app (pending you've successfully signed in previously). Rest assured that Homeboy doesn't store your password — your session is maintained through a token generated when you last signed in. Good app but thermostat is not included

The application is very easy to use it's a lot faster then insteon application.
But it will be better if the developers include a way to control the thermostat.

Good, but potential to be even better

Better than the Insteon app, but it can't see my I/O devices - only on/off devices? Am I missing something or does it not support I/O devices? Please update if it doesn't! Thanks.

Homeboy currently supports most Insteon on/off and lighting modules. Unfortunately, we're currently unable to support sensor devices due to a limitation with the Insteon interface that Homeboy needs to communicate with. We're currently working with Insteon to bridge this limitation so that Homeboy can support sensor devices in the near future. As this is one of the most popular feature requests that we receive, we'll continue to work with Insteon and deliver this feature as soon as possible. However, no ETA as of yet. Easy and intuitive design!

Love this app! I can control everything very easily. I can even check if I accidentally left the light on after leaving the house. If you are looking for something simple and easy to use this app is for you!
