About
The Homeland Museum in Priboj was founded in 1990 as a complex museum of the civic kind. It operates through museum departments, workshops and a library containing a technical literature. It includes the Archaeology Department (with pre-historical, ancient and medieval collections).
Within its Art Department there a special segment with legacy of Nadežda and Nevena Vitorović. The Ethnography Department consists of the collection of traditional tangible and spiritual culture of Serbs and Muslims of the Priboj region and the legacy of Vujica Jevđević.
The History Department holds photographs of the Priboj region and written documents within the last two centuries. The other museum units are: the documentation and conservation workshop, the studio and the library with scholarly technical books.
