Pickup

I tried using the pickup feature of the app and it wouldn’t work. The app kept saying that there wasn’t a Homeland within 25-50 miles of my zip code which is false! Then, it kept trying to make me use instacart or doordash for delivery when I don’t want to use delivery. Everything else is fine (at least for now) but I got the app primarily for pickup.

frustrating

Buggy app locks up more often than it works

Updated app doesn’t work

Whatever update you did to this app it no longer works. I enter my phone number and I receive a code that doesn’t work. You cannot skip ahead either. I deleted the app and reinstalled but it still doesn’t work. It’s pretty much worthless now.

Hate not having real paper

My dad can’t operate the smart phone and has no computer. He always made his list according to the ad. I tried showing it to him on my phone and he has trouble seeing it. Really sucks a whole lot of the older generation can’t see the ads anymore!!

Awful

This app is awful. So many of the items don’t have pictures to go along with the headings. If the heading doesn’t have details like how many ounces or count is in the item, you can’t enlarge the picture, if there is one. A lot of the items have distorted pictures. After you click on an item a lot of them don’t have details listed. It’s like they are trying to figure out how apps work. And they failed. Please look at other shopping apps and get this figured out!

doesn’t work

this app does nott work. it’s frustrating and a waste of time.

Doesn’t work

When you type an item you are looking for it pulls up 100 other things other than what you want to look for!!!

False ads

Items in the ad can not even be found in the app order to “clip the coupon”.

Cannot STAY signed in or link other phone numbers to account

Cannot link multiple family member phone numbers to account so you don’t have to call main person for code to sign in every time OR just stay signed in at all times. Share shopping list doesn’t seem to work (tried creating shopping list and can only paste words into list, keyboard does not pop up to be able to type). Cannot use app if I can’t reach main account holder for code that was texted to them to sign in.

Homeland stores

Sure like the deals 😁

I don’t like

I hate this new app and the way you do your adds !!

Pros and Cons

Works well .
Pros: Easy to navigate ads, coupons, digital deals.
Cons:
Lost the ability to create and add multiple shopping lists.
Lost the ability to simply click on an item in the ad to put on the list.
Now you have to use the search box to find an item before adding it to the list.
Used to be able make a shopping list in less than 2 minutes..now it takes at least 15 minutes so I don’t bother. I take a picture of the item I want and search my photos at the store. It works but a list would be better.

Awesome

Everything is great! I just wish they had more meat sells thru the year

Bye Simple. Welcome Complicated.

The first time I attempted to use the app to take advantage of the digital deals, the young male cashier, said to me: customers are supposed to have their digital coupons already clipped before they come into the store on their phone apps.
I nearly walked off without buying my items, until I maddeningly spoke: “ No! You get someone over here who can help me!!!” And I said it through gritted teeth.
He did. And a middle aged female cashier helped me out tremendously. Not some long haired gen Xer or gen Zer or whatever they are called nowadays. 20 year olds who are constantly looking at their phones.
I usually just use the “put in your phone number” device next to the checkout, but sometimes it’s not working.
I was talked into getting an app when they were first available, when I walked into the store, and the young female employee was quite patient and helpful.
Mainly what I don’t like about it, is the gas credits never accumulate with the new cell phone app.
A manager gave me a name and number to call and ask questions about that. But no one answered and if there was an answering machine aka voice mail, no one returned my call.

Usability

I used this app all the time before it was changed. Now, it’s useless to m. I can’t see the ads on my phone because the pics are too small. Can’t see what is on sale. I shop sales and plan meals around that. The previous app was much nicer in that I could see sales by department, add things to my shopping list etc. No more!

Bad app

The old app was better. I want to add to my list from the ad.

Hate the new app

It rarely works at my store and they don’t or can’t do anything about it. What was wrong with the old system? Putting in the phone number and getting the good deals! I may have to stop shopping at Homeland as it’s actually costing me more now that the app rarely works!!

Newby @ the App

For my first time using the Homeland App this was a breeze. Shopping made easy.

Confusing

Many customers come to our store and we are having a hard time finding a wallet on some android models. Many customers are angry they have to have the app in order to get digital sales. I think we need to fix this app to be more elderly people friendly.

Digital deals

I clip my digital deals day or at least hours before going to the store. I have yet been able to redeem my digital deal even with store associates help.
