Pros and Cons
Pros: Easy to navigate ads, coupons, digital deals.
Cons:
Lost the ability to create and add multiple shopping lists.
Lost the ability to simply click on an item in the ad to put on the list.
Now you have to use the search box to find an item before adding it to the list.
Used to be able make a shopping list in less than 2 minutes..now it takes at least 15 minutes so I don’t bother. I take a picture of the item I want and search my photos at the store. It works but a list would be better.
Awesome
Bye Simple. Welcome Complicated.
I nearly walked off without buying my items, until I maddeningly spoke: “ No! You get someone over here who can help me!!!” And I said it through gritted teeth.
He did. And a middle aged female cashier helped me out tremendously. Not some long haired gen Xer or gen Zer or whatever they are called nowadays. 20 year olds who are constantly looking at their phones.
I usually just use the “put in your phone number” device next to the checkout, but sometimes it’s not working.
I was talked into getting an app when they were first available, when I walked into the store, and the young female employee was quite patient and helpful.
Mainly what I don’t like about it, is the gas credits never accumulate with the new cell phone app.
A manager gave me a name and number to call and ask questions about that. But no one answered and if there was an answering machine aka voice mail, no one returned my call.
