Learning costs money??
Subscription based learning is a disease and my child should have access to the things they need without having to pay monthly to some developer to make millions.

Mostly stimulating content rather than learning - charged me when signed up for trial
I genuinely dislike this app. I would like to see more learning activities, but it’s mostly just videos, songs, stories, coloring pages and placing stickers. It’s more like watching TV than a learning game. And we continually get the same content in his daily moose lessons. I’m so sick of the same annoying cake video over and over. I do understand kids learn through play and through repetition, but this doesn’t seem like that. It just feels like content for them to stare at.
Another HUGE issue is that I never even wanted to buy this. We signed up for the week trial, but when I went to cancel it before the week was up, I saw that it charged me for a year subscription on the day it was supposed to start the trial, and I couldn’t do anything about it. I wish I could get my money back, I rarely even let my kid use the app, but I doubt the company cares considering all the bad reviews about payment. Truly disappointing, I don’t understand what others see in this app.

Good but glitchy
My kids love the app. They like the games and videos. The app doesn’t seem as reliable as it was in the past. Now every time we open the app I have to log in. It doesn’t work with the Apple password fill function, so I have to go to the other app, copy the password then come back. Which is annoying when you have to do it every time. It occasionally gets stuck on the blue screen and is a bit laggy at times. Hoping these issues clear up soon especially when we pay a good amount for app access.

Excellent app to learn how to read
I started using this app with my 3 year old. We did 15 min a day of the reading path and extra minutes for the extra activities. She is now 4 and it’s reading sight words and sounding out words. We increased the time to 20 min per day since she is older.
This app is wonderful but most of the success rate comes from you and your child having discipline, don’t expect miracles and results without it.

Subscription failure
I paid for my subscription but when I log in it takes me back to the subscription page to pay for it again. On the iPad it shows subscription paid, When I click restore purchases on the app nothing works. This app is all issues now I trusted it back in 2017 with son but now trying to use it with my toddler and it’s just a lot of issues.

Denied refund
My daughter accidentally purchased this app and the subscription renewed after the free trial and the app wouldn’t give me a refund even though it wasn’t me that purchased it.
Charged me immediately after download, never got a free trial

Great, WHEN it works
My kids loved this app from the first time trying it. It’s very user friendly and has a good variety of activities. The problem comes from the fact that half of the time the app won’t even open. It’ll go through the little HOMER jingle and will stay on a blue screen. I’ve trouble shot it but nothing helps. For 80 dollars for the year subscription I should be able to count on the app WORKING.

I miss the old homer…
I hope this is seen by the developers because this feels important to me. I used to love this game when I was like 5 because I loved the characters and the art style and the stories and everything about it. But then they changed. They slowly replaced all of their characters and I don’t think they even have homer the pigeon anymore. I still remember that the raccoon liked lemonade and nip and nap and the article on lions and that story with the owls. So if a developer is reading this please bring back the old homer that we know and love.

Best game ever
this game is such a good game for kids. This game made my kid be able to read whenever they were in kindergarten.

Keeps crashing
App keeps crashing, I’ve been having to delete and reupload which is disappointing. My kids love the learning materials but it’s no fun paying when it doesn’t work half the time.

I’ve had this app for 2 years. The first year, my son (2yo) at the time loved it. However, over time, the content never changed or got updated. And the subscription is not cheap.
