Helped me get control of expenses
I’m on a fixed income and I’m really trying to lower my expenses. This helped me figure out where and what I could do to bring down my utility bill. This was super important cause that’s one of those things that makes a big difference over time.
Simple yet informative!
I never saw any app that covers entire house so carefully. It is very simple but informative at the same time. Went around the house with my 10 year old and even she found it so interesting that we had a long chat afterwards about how outside air increases our electricity bill ...every month. Meh. Kind of hate it. Surprising for an app like this.
Wow that sure wasn't worth the wait. Can finally create an account but the app is poor. No explanation of saving and no information on rebates. No way to enter vaulted ceiling with no attic. The app recommends replacing windows when that is often an upgrade that has horrible ROI. And most vinyl windows are poorly made and sag. Also no definitions, no link to look up to see if you appliances are energy star. Lots of issues with this app. What's a "typical roof". How about BUR, does that count as typical or should I answer I don't know.
Have you seen houses on the west coast? Most houses don't basements. Why can't you select a dryer as gas or electric? I have no idea. Isn't that an important appliance to include? Can't enter dryer type in this app. Odd omission.
I could keep going after using it for about 5 minutes.
"Heating Setting" range of 60-80°. "Cooling Setting" range of 55-75°. I set my cooling to cool at 78° yet I can't to that in the app. Very odd for an energy app. Why limit this? I guess if you set your heater to less than 60° you can't match that in this app.

Can't sign on
Would be cool to use but I can't get past entering my avg water, electricity and gas bill page. Please update!

Would be a great app if I could actually get to the next prompt to answer the questions. Can't use it.
Simple, intuitive and cool
We bought a new house and received our first electricity bill and the number was not exactly what I wanted to see, so I started doing some research, needed a tool that can help me find issues and guide me to make decisions that will help us save money on the bill. Homeselfe did exactly that, and not only that, it also showed us the rebates that we can apply for that was provided by our local power company. It's a very useful tool. And yes, I love the name.
