Long time member-I’m out
Long time member and I can not support this organization anymore. What was a company who had amazing resources, encouragement, and inspiration, has digressed into fear mongering tactics and exclusionary behavior. I do believe they came from such a good place at the beginning but it’s been made clear that unless you are an evangelical republican, you are not going to get picked for the team. And when presented with logical and common sense explanations for some wild theories, you’re met with the typical avoidant and deflective responses. Spending time and energy and “Armageddon prepping” is taking away from the very real and big problems in the homesteading world. I’m sad to be canceling my membership but I can’t support any company or persons who make it seem like you’re only welcome and only matter if you fit into a certain homesteaders box.
