FAQ

What does the HomeWizard Cameras app do?

This app allows you to monitor multiple compatible home security cameras in real-time from a single interface. All data is stored locally on your camera for enhanced privacy and security.

How does the app handle data privacy and security?

The app prioritizes user privacy and security by not saving any camera data on external servers. Instead, all recordings are securely stored directly on your camera. When you view your camera feed, a direct, encrypted connection is established between your phone and the camera for a worry-free experience.

Is the HomeWizard Cameras app free to use?

What are the main benefits of using motion detection zones?

Motion detection zones allow you to define specific areas within your camera's view where you want to trigger recordings. This helps to filter out irrelevant motion, such as trees swaying in the wind, and ensures that you are alerted to and record only the events that truly matter to your home monitoring needs.
