How does Homie. help me meet friends?
Homie. allows you to share your real-time location with friends. Once they accept your invitation, an arrow will point to your current position, guiding them to you. This is ideal for coordinating outdoor meetups.
Can I control who sees my location on Homie.?
Yes, you can revoke access for individual users at any time. You can also easily disable location sharing temporarily for all your followers if needed.
Is Homie. accurate indoors?
Homie. is intended for outdoor use as GPS signals are weaker inside buildings. The accuracy also depends on the GPS and compass accuracy of both devices, and compass accuracy can vary due to magnetic interference.
What happens if my friend's location isn't updating on Homie.?
Location updates may be delayed if your friend's device is in Low Power Mode, is off, lacks an internet connection, has force-quit the app, or has uninstalled it.
Does Homie. use a lot of battery?
Homie. is designed to use a very small amount of battery power to keep your location up to date in the background. Turning on 'Meet Up Mode' can improve background location accuracy for 20 minutes.
