HonestPDF: Private PDF Tools

HonestPDF puts a complete PDF toolkit on your iPhone and iPad, and runs every one of its tools on the device itself. Nothing you open is uploaded. There is no server doing the work, no account to create, and no subscription. Turn on airplane mode and the app keeps working, because the tools ship inside it. WHAT IS INSIDE Organise: merge, split, extract pages, delete pages, rotate, reorder and crop. Compress and clean: compress, flatten, remove metadata, remove watermark. Convert to PDF: images, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML and Markdown. Convert from PDF: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images and text, plus pulling out the images embedded in a file. Sign and protect: fill and sign, digital signature, password protection with AES-256, unlock, redact. Read and edit: edit text, add page numbers, add a watermark, OCR scanned documents. Check: a privacy scanner that reports what a file gives away about you. Build: invoice generator, resume builder, WhatsApp and chat transcripts to PDF. WORKS WITH YOUR FILES Open any PDF from Files, Mail or Safari with Share, choose HonestPDF, and the app opens with your document already loaded into a tool that can take it. Finished files save through the system Files picker, so they land wherever you keep your documents. PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE, NOT BY PROMISE Your documents never leave the device, because there is nowhere for them to go. The app collects no data at all, contains no analytics, and has no in-app browser. One caveat, stated plainly rather than buried: OCR in a language other than English or Turkish downloads that language's recognition model the first time you use it.
