A complete waste of space on your mobile device
First off, every single search on Google, and on the Honeywell site for instructions on pairing was a wild goose chase. You pull up the owners manual for the HPA8350B, and you’ll get plenty of information on the operation of the purifier EXCEPT how to operate the Bluetooth function. And why should I complain about that? Because the two air filters I have constantly unpair with the app forcing me to constantly repeat the pairing process. Also, you better be within 30 feet or less of a purifier or you have no connection with it. You might as well resign yourself to manually controlling the purifier or suffer the frustration of your wasted time trying to get the app to perform reliably. Honeywell? Fire your apps development department and save yourself some salary costs.

Bluetooth Issues
Bluetooth used to connect and remain connected no matter where I was in my home, but since the most recent update, the connection drops all the time. It’s a pain. Bluetooth is on, on the app, and there are still issues. Wouldn’t recommend until they return the app to normal.

The app does not work, at all, on my iPhone. It’s 4 years old, so not a huge surprise.
Bluetooth is on, but the app can’t find it, and literally every attempt at navigation yields the annoying “whoops, our bad” error. Not cute.

App useless
None of the links worked on the app, 404 error messages on all of them. Can’t order filters or read the manual. I realize this is Bluetooth, and is limited in its capabilities as opposed to Wi-Fi. Bought a Winix unit at Cosco, Wi-Fi, great functionality and very quiet. Scheduling on the Honeywell is terrible! Come on Honeywell, you are the industry standard in the air business for years. You are way better than this product.

OK for basic information
None of the functions, such as links to where you can buy filters, work. I am in Canada.
None of the “More” options work.
Seriously needs updates. No help from Honeywell itself.

App not working

Obviously by the reviews and customer ratings, the developer needs to look into restructuring the app. None of the links with the app are accurate. Every time I click on the link within the app, it says it can’t display the page.
My filter needed to be changed and the app showed it was still green. Consumers paid a lot of money for this machine. We expect our money worth.

App needs an upgrade
I replaced my HEPA filter & prefilter but the App shows red (replace) on my prefilter setting & won’t reset on the app even though there is no replace light showing on the unit. I tried over & over to reset and followed every instruction possible so I know its the App.
It also frequently loses the bluetooth connection on one or both of my units.
Most of the additional information the app provides (in the More section) like the necessary manual, quickstart guide or registering your product for the warranty leads to a “page not found” notice. Really? Is your company even operating still?

Apps worth downloading and using but
All the links don’t work. Cant reset air filter once I’ve replaced it. I’ll change my rating once these are fixed. Should be a simple fix too.

Fix the dead links please.... should make ordering filters a breeze, but not if the links don’t work!!

When you push a button to get to the user manual the app shows a 404 “can’t find the webpage” error. Other links in the app don’t work either.

Daily functions remain ok, but trying to navigate to honeywell air purifier information such as manuals, quick setup and filter purchases just takes you to a useless Vicks product website.

New Filters
I replaced the Hepa filters and the app shows I still need to replace. I tried replacing again, downloaded the app again and nothing works. The indicator on the machine shows it is ok, but this makes the app useless!
Sorry if I missed this.
Can you have two people download the app and run the air purifier?
Why not homekit?
The app is ok. It controls settings, tells how much filter life left. Scheduling basically doesn’t work reliably. Doesn’t handle multiple purifiers well. Don’t need the shopping tools. Would be so much better if these products integrated into HomeKit. VOCOinc purifier has HomeKit.
Great hands free app
This app works great as a remote and is very convenient being on your phone. It would be perfect if the app provided some detailed information and stats like a chart from the information the voc sensor collects. Albeit may not be possible but one can always hope, maybe in a future update? Over the app provide some convenience! 👍🏻
