The “upgrade” now covers a large portion of the screen with a search box that you can’t hide. I just want to see as much of the map as possible. And now when I swipe left to see more map, it constantly opens a the ‘about’ window, which I never want. Big pain to use. I just want to see the map. Switched to Explore Hong Kong app, whose primary function is to show you the map, and their map is more readable, too.

Useless for South of Hong Kong Island
Completely useless if you want to travel to or from the south of Hong Kong Island as it doesn’t show the South Island Line.
Good map but not up to date
The map is good, clear and easy to navigate however isn’t up to date with the new south Hong Kong island line or the Kwun Tong line extension.
Nice functionality but missing South Island line - a big deal as it stops at Ocean Park.
Route planning is good but does not include all the new lines.
Hong Kong map incomplete
Unfortunately the map doesn’t reflect the current (30/06/2018) state of the metro in Hong Kong and it’s quite a way off. I used it in Beijing and it was great, just not Hong Kong
Missing an Entire MTR Line
Sometimes the only way to get info to the developers is via the reviews. Well, so here's a try. The App is missing the the so-called South Island Line from Admiralty to South Horizons. It is also missing the extension of the Kwan Tong Line from Yau Ma Tei to Whampoa. If you ask me, I'd say these kinds of things are sort of important when you are giving people subway guidance? Don't you think?

Very useful!
Quick simple and functional way to navigate Hong Kong's subway system. Great route planner, easy to read while on the rush. The only glitch is that is mistakenly took the airport express line as part of the subway system and would route through it occasionally. The airport express in not part of the generic subway system and requires a separate ticket. Still, not a big problem once you know about this small glitch as there is a parallel line for most of the way and you just get used to replace one for the other mentally.

MTR map is very clear and easy to use

Some of the underground stations are huge and can be more than a kilometre from one end to other so be careful which exit you come out of as you might not be where you think

Great system!!
Map is easy to use also in the subway station it's very clear on direction via viewing station map. Subway stations are huge, multi exits.
Metroman is better
It doesn't show all the stops and the fare prices... The best thing in this app is the geo location that allows you to know the closest station to you...

Multilingual und sehr nützlich
Trotz der Übersichtlichkeit des Streckennetzes gut zu gebrauchen, zumal in den Bahnhöfen der MTR WLAN kostenlos nutzbar ist (zeitlich begrenzt). Eine Integration mit der noch besseren und umfassenden App des Omnibusnetzes wäre ein großer Schritt vorwärts!
