Ugly app and full page ads
This is probably the ugliest app on my phone but it does what it says. Paid! Edit 8 August 2022. Despite paying for the app, Iβm getting full-page ads that last several seconds when the app is open. Really? And having installed the My Observatory app, that app is actually better. For a start, typhoon warnings actually appear on the weather widget. This isnβt true of this app, which is laughable considering it is called Hong Kong Warnings! Uninstalled.

Great information
As a frequent visitor to Hong Kong, my understanding of the seriousness of typhoon preparedness is growing. I downloaded this app as severe typhoon Usagi was approaching. It provides a comprehensive set of information which is kept very current to the changing conditions.

Tells what you need to know. Works well, and does not take up much space. Essential for living in Hong Kong.

Just paid up, it's a good app. Does exactly what it says. Particularly like that it also has non typhoon alerts pinging through notifications.

Misleading
Once installed, flashes one line joke and then program closes. Not sure if thos is a scam or virus. Do not recommend downloading. 0 Stars.

Really useful little app. Works just fine. Produces fire and strong monsoon warnings as well as typhoon stuff. Warning pops up on your screen. A very practical use of technology.
