Thank u for honest reporting!

Although sometimes itโ€™s nice to look at the events through rose colored glasses, CB takes them off for you.

Poor iPad support

This app is basically a blown up phone app but for an inexplicable reason they chose to not let it do landscape which makes me not even use it although the content on civil beat is far and away superior in journalism I end up with Hawaii news now simply because it landscapes.

Civil Beat is Great, but App needs work

Civil Beat is an awesome news and commentary site for Hawaii. But the app lags behind. They still have not released an iPad version after several years. Why?

They no longer allow you to comment via the iOS app. Instead, you must go to the website. Why?

Civil Beat, the news service, deserves a better app than this. They ARE worthy of it.

Love CB!

Mahalo CB for providing critical issues written by top notch writers who can be trusted for truthful, in-depth reporting.

LC

Love your on the spot stories. Lee Cataluna especially

Great News Source

If this app would orient to landscape, I would give it 5 stars. I love their news coverage and their editorials are bang on target.

good journalism

we are fortunate to have journalism as good as cb in Hawaii. its one of the fundamental pre requisites of democracy and progress.

Good Quality

Without a doubt an excellent news source that offers good quality news that caters to people living in Hawaii.

A great source for a another view of the news.

I read every it morning. I particularly like Chad Blairโ€™s political commentary.

Better menu and organization

Lack of a menu with true topic sections and archives makes the App less useful.

Grateful for Civil Beat

Impressive local reporting. Focus on government problems and solutions is useful and is better done than the newspaper. Plenty of room for improvement but overall we are fortunate to have this journal in our community and they deserve our support.

Great Job!

Civil Beat is new for me. I love your presentation of the news!

Soooo slow

Takes forever to load. Not worth the effort ๐Ÿ˜ด

CBโ€™s New App Makes Reading Difficult

Whoever developed this app doesnโ€™t know how readers read. Browsing is difficult, as youโ€™re limited to swiping through groups of stories, canโ€™t get a top line overview of site contents and canโ€™t read reviewer comments. I despise this app and would reinstall the old one if possible.

APPRECIATED!

I appreciate the immediate updates on what is happening in the State!

Good

Great info

Great Investigative Reporting

My favorite place to go for stories that affects the average person.

They ainโ€™t scared

Best bottom line up front news and coverage

Real Journalism

Very informative, much appreciated objective reporting. Hoping more people will be exposed to such. Mahalo

Convenient

Great app. Easy to swipe to various articles. I like getting the 8:00 am notification that there are new articles posted. Easy fonts for reading. And of course, the quality of reporting on Hawaiโ€™i issues is fantastic. Any plans for an iPad app?
