Been playing this game for 3 years now and it does kill time when you’re bored. You can play without buying any upgrades, but will be limited in some play. I haven’t seen any new content for at least 18 months. The holiday tournaments are the same every year and the game just keeps repeating itself. Still good for stress relief, but you will get to a point where you are going nowhere…

I’m quite young and get bored often on my iPad, so when I was bored I came across hooked inc and it’s amazing! It has great fundamentals and mechanics and has no ads? (I know what you’re thinking, no ads?) YES NO ADS, it isn’t pay to win either, it’s just a fun, offline fishing game, just swipe, upgrade, have fun, repeat! there is only two things I could recommend for the developers though, maybe a revamped UI and possible multiplayer mode, even though it seems simple, multiplayer mode could have so much potential,

I really love the game. But the ads kill me. Theres no way to tell if you did watched the ad. Something I have to watch a second ad.
Not recommended
Fun and all but watching ads often times don’t give you the promised reward so you are wasting your time massively.
