Book worm
One of the best apps i have. I read more, listen more and learn more all together with hoopla. From learning guitar theory to audiobooks of interest hoopla has made me better as a person, no doubt. Keep the content coming!
i like hoopla but..
it irritates me that you can only borrow four books a month. i thought this app was about reading why would you restrict is from reading? disappointing
Great! Just one thing…
I love this app-I use it whenever I need a nice ebook to read. As a kid, I like exploring new genres and styles. I love how they have songs and audiobooks along with ebooks I love. The one thing that’s keeping me from clicking 5 stars is that you can only download 5 books a month. Now, this is common, since maybe you’d need a membership to be able to get unlimited downloads. But noooo. There’s a limit to the books downloaded even when it’s not like the creators of Hoopla will gain money from this-it’s kind of like you guys just want some readers to be unsatisfied. If you add a membership option, I’ll be happier, but if you go the extra mile (I know you want, you kind of only care about money-making 🤪） and let there be unlimited books per month, I’ll change it to 5 stars and edit this review. Please consider my request!!!!!!

Hoopla App
I appreciate my local library giving me access to Hoopla, but I do not like the limit on Books per month
The app does not make it clear when you were looking through books which one are instant and which ones are flex.
I was clicking on the next book in the series I was listening to and it incorrectly checked me out for a book. I had listened to last month. I hope in the future hoopla looks at Libby and considers only having so many holds and only so many books at one time but not limiting per month.

Hoopla
Hoopla is amazing for borrowing books. I use it for audio mostly and have never had one issue. Great resource

A concise summary of world war 2
A well written history of world war 2 this has a better presentation than many of the other books out on the subject! Well done! I enjoy the variety of books you have available I have wide reading interests and ca always find something on hoopla keep up the good selections

I don’t see the sense in keeping the app open to have it constantly restart! When I’m in the car waiting for it to start playing I have to open the app, choose the book and hit play.

Lending Libraries Live!
I’ve been laid up with a broken ankle and hoopla audiobook has helped me get through the afternoons, entertaining me with whatever my heart desires to listen to. So far, I’ve enjoyed something spiritual something scientific, a western and who knows what will be next! I still miss going to a beautiful library, but hoopla brought the library to me. Thank you for the service, I highly recommend!

Latest Update Is Broken
The app no longer remembers login info. It is running very slowly and not playing titles.
Stopped working
App randomly stopped working, throwing errors like “invalid graph user” and “something went wrong “. Reinstalling didn’t fix it a their support page doesn’t have contact info.
Can’t login
Need to fix this. Cannot login and the change password using the link. The book I have on loan is ticking and will likely expire before I can get back into the app and read it. Not impressed.
Slow and Picky
I think apps from the first iPhone load faster than this one does.
I couldn’t even use this app for a while because it wouldn’t accept my library card (though my card was through a collaborating library and my sibling was able to use theirs through that same library). I moved and got a new library card and could finally use it (yay!) and suddenly it has logged me out and I cannot log back in, though I have the correct password. It will not even let me change my password just to be able to log back in. It’s taken me a half hour to attempt two logins because it’s so slow and glitchy.

I’m really new to Hoopla but it already seems awesome. I’m on a tight budget so it’s nice to have free entertainment through the library. 🙂
