Great App, Poor Casting
I absolutely LOVE Hoopla except for the fact that when I try to cast the media to my tv, I only get the blue “hoopla” screen.

3/13/2025 Update - this latest update is causing Hoopla to stall on my iPhone. Requires quite frequent (multiple times a session) closing and reopening to get it moving again. This is annoying!

Hoopla is good.
It’s very good, but the user interface could use some work. Search is less effective than I want it to be; showed me results in Chinese sometimes. That’s very random. However, it’s got some wonderful content and I like it very much.

It’s great to be able to support my library system yet still be able to have the convinence of cheacking out books from home and having them anywhere, anytime! 💕🤲🏽 Does need an update though. I bookmark my page and it always resets to the first page of the first chapter that I’ve never bookmarked

Free through the library so good with some search issues
Love the chance to access more content then just my library. However, the search only does keywords in the title. You can’t narrow by genre and subgenre as well as concept. The suggestions are good if you have narrow tastes otherwise it can be hard to find the content you like. And the books take 30 seconds longer to open then in kindle - no opening up to the page you were on for a quick 1 minute reading break, half the time is lost opening it. But access to more free content is always good.

Doesn’t work
I downloaded this app for the variety of books my Libby app doesn’t have. Great love that aspect. But when I go to borrow a book or an Audio book it tells me I have reached my daily limit of borrowed books and I don’t even have 1. Go to check my Hoopla and it says I still have 18 borrows for the month?! Why won’t it let me borrow a book ever?!? Very frustrating and ended up deleting it due that
