Terrible hoover wizard app
Touch screen buttons stopped working on my dryer so downloaded wizard as a workaround to start machine… The app is complete rubbish only allowing you register.. no connectivity whatsoever ever despite the having a smartphone with correct technology to connect.. left with a machine I can’t start.. Hoover Wizard - any updates on this app or are we all just left in limbo?

Complete utter rubbish
This app would get no stars from me it’s absolute rubbish if I would of known I would never have bought this appliance now I have no idea how to work it a complete waste of money thanks hoover
I wish they updated the app so it would work
I bought the washing machine nearly 5 years ago and the app stopped working about 2 years ago. No more updates. It doesn’t load when opening the app. This is a disgrace! As I don’t get anymore the notification that the washing is done.

Impossible log in
It takes you through a sign up process taking all your details and you set up a password.
Then it sends you an email to confirm. You click on the link in that email and it does nothing, just says approved. Then when you try to log in, it requires your username. But you don’t get one in the sign up process, so you cannot log in and the app is therefore inaccessible.

The app won’t connect to my machine on my iPhone. No idea why. Tech support couldn’t help. Hole reason for buying was for the app and it doesn’t even work
Absolutely useless!!!!!
Utterly useless with iPhone. Don’t even waste your time downloading it to use with one touch if you have an iPhone. Nothing works and app keeps crashing. You can’t even check how many cycles your machine has done.
This was a big selling point, but Hoover do not say there is very little support for Apple products.

Great for favourites
So easy to set up favourites, needs Alexa integration and it’s a pain when I’m in a hurry and the app has logged me out and wants an emailed code to let me back in.
Came back to take a star off as it keeps stopping working every couple of weeks, crashing on opening, meaning I need to uninstall, reinstall, log back in, enter a code etc. It’s always done this, but is becoming more frequent. It’s actually quicker to use the machine itself.

Pants - and I’m not talking washing about washing them
I literally bought the Hoover washer because of the connectivity - to find this app and NFC doesn’t work with iPhone.. it should be made abundantly clear that NFC is not compatible in marketing materials. I now have a dumb washer which is no different to the one I ‘upgraded’. What’s the point of a 200+mb app that can only provide instructions on how to manually operate the washer

Hoover and candy sell their products are smart. Except their app doesn’t function. Having a smart item that doesn’t connect. Is not smart. They wasted weeks of my time promising they could make it work. The item is broken and their tech team do not answer the call. Do not buy a hoover or candy product.. If you have purchased one, please return it immediately to get your money back.

Tumble dryer doesn’t sync with iOS
I have attempted to synchronise my tumble dryer with the iOS app but have been unable to connect. The manual screen appears and I cannot select the options for drying. I have followed all the instructions provided in the manual but the device remains unresponsive. I have also tried connecting my Samsung device which works successfully. This has prompted me to rate the product one star as the instructions for connecting to an iPhone are unclear.

Never works
When 1st downloaded it worked for a couple of days. Then you tap to open the app, and it never opens. Tried deleting it and downloading again, just doesn’t want to know. Very poor app

Great to be control the washing remotely and lots of information and messages to tell us about the weather and when to clean the machine
Can’t even sign in
Feel like my dryer is useless and this app is even more useless , even a jr developer can make a sign in screen function correctly. This app has buttons that just don’t work or do anything.
