HopeLab | LabGobaith

LabGobaith (HopeLab) is a bilingual educational app developed for children and schools in Wales. Co-designed with young learners, it combines engaging science-themed stories with interactive literacy activities to support reading development and strengthen science vocabulary in both Welsh and English. The app encourages curiosity, reflection, and discussion by connecting scientific ideas with children’s everyday experiences and wellbeing. By exploring science through storytelling, learners develop language skills while gaining confidence in understanding scientific concepts. LabGobaith supports bilingual learning and helps students build vocabulary across both languages in meaningful contexts. Activities are designed to promote engagement, critical thinking, and collaborative learning both inside and outside the classroom. Aligned with the Curriculum for Wales, the app supports key areas of learning including: • Languages, Literacy and Communication • Science and Technology • Health and Well-being LabGobaith can be used in classrooms, immersion settings, and at home to help learners strengthen literacy skills while exploring science in a creative and accessible way.
