It’s cool I guess, I’ve been getting more matches and likes on here, so it definitely doesn’t feel as if I’m being hidden like on hinge and tinder. Why is everyone so far away though, there needs to be a way to filter how far away people can be and still show them.

Says they vet out so it’s better quality from your area, first one up was a video rant about women using men for money. Didn’t get much better from there. Don’t bother 😅 Not the app creators fault that the pool is rough but I’d rather not have to swipe thru 40 low effort profiles to find one that ends up being the same as the other apps anyway.

No filter for distance
How is a “meet irl” app not gonna show me people near me? I’m seeing people in completely different countries and across the US. Do the developers think we have the funds to travel for love? In this economy?!
Doesn’t give local people, like every other unpopular dating app.
Everyone it’s giving me is 400+ miles away. I’m in Alabama and the first person I saw was literally from Dallas Texas.

Wish i could give zero stars. My app is locked and every time i try to “answer a question” to finish making my account i get a blank screen. Have been emailing back and forth with support and all i get is that i couldnt verify that my age is over 18?!! I AM 26 YEARS OLD. Support is useless so i guess i cant use it. I dont even remember uploading my age but ik if i did i PUT MY BIRTHDAY. Awful

The app is a good idea but no browse function to see people in your area.
Completely useless
I live in Maine. It’s having we swipe on people in California, Texas, and Florida. I thought this app was for meeting people in person.

personally hav tried a lot of dating apps in a lot of different locations, a lot of them have one too many creepy people but hoppy is consistently not like that. only app I can conclusively say I felt safe on and didn’t feel the need to b extra proactive abt potential risks

Hoppy is a new dating app designed for college students. Unlike other apps, hoppy allows you to create group chats with friends to see who your friends are matching with/what they talk about. Also, it features excellent protection against catfishing with video prompts. It’s as if TikTok and Hinge had a baby!
