About
Horae puts a reminder down in two taps.
This is my own take on a reminder app, and it is deliberately bare. The need it answers is narrow: catch the thing in the two seconds before you forget it, without navigating anywhere. No lists, no projects, no tags, no priorities, no sign-in. Free, no ads, no in-app purchases.
TYPE, TAP, DONE
Write what you must not forget, tap a preset, it is set. No creation screen, no Save button, no optional fields to wade through. The preset IS the confirmation — that is what makes it fast.
THE PRESETS ARE YOURS
Relative ones count from now: +1 h, +6 h, in a week — set in minutes, hours or days, whichever reads best.
Anchored ones aim at a fixed time: Tonight at 19:00, Tomorrow morning at 9:00. Add, edit, reorder by dragging, and delete them freely in Settings. An anchored preset whose time has already passed simply rolls over to the next day — nothing is ever greyed out.
NOTHING TO TICK OFF
There are no checkboxes anywhere. A reminder moves to Past the moment its time arrives, because the date is the only thing that decides. Miss a notification with the app closed and it still lands in the right place. Choose how long the history is kept: 7, 30, 90 days, or everything.
ON THE HOME SCREEN, AND OUT LOUD
Widgets in three sizes show what is coming, with the weekday and the hour, on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. Say "Hey Siri, set a reminder in Horae" and it is filed even with the app closed. In Shortcuts you can give that action any phrase you like.
REPEATS AND SNOOZE
Daily, weekly, monthly, or every few days. Snooze straight from the notification with +10 min or +1 h, without unlocking further — and the countdown restarts from when you answer, not from when it was due.
YOUR REMINDERS, YOUR FILE
Export everything to a plain JSON file you keep wherever you like, and read it back on another iPhone or after a reinstall. The import adds without ever replacing: what is already on the device wins.
