Must-have for my setup
It’s a little tricky to setup because of windows firewalls, but once it’s up and running you’ll never go back. The developer has a Discord channel where he and other users can troubleshoot issues. Love the UFC app!
just do it
The instructions were simple and clear, so I got set up quickly. I ran into a problem where DCS was transmitting data to my ipad but not vice versa. I became stumped. Then, I reached out to the dev and he literally spent probably 1-1.5hrs with me troubleshooting this. It turned out that my computer had some port issues that we had to fix, and once we did that this app works perfectly. It is so cool for the UFC.
All the functional stuff aside, I commend the dev for responding to me within 30 minutes and then spending additional time with me on discord. We got to chatting and he helped me out with helios exports too—above and beyond expectations. Just get the app

Can’t get app to work, waste of time
Not sure what Im doing wrong but I can’t get the app to work. Trying to follow the tutorial to get it setup but I get errors every time I try to edit the DCS BIOS export folder. So far has this app has been a waste of time and money.

Great program that still needs a little work
tl;dr - If you’re a hornet driver with an iPad BUY THIS! BUY THIS! BUY THIS!
The program itself is rather easy to setup if you read the instructions. Compared to other solutions this was a breeze. Just make sure you read the entire step in the instructions (unlike me) before you do anything. One thing that does annoy me is if the iPad goes to sleep, you need to close and reopen the app completely. Some built in way of keeping the iPad from sleeping would be very nice to have. Ease of setup and use: 7/10
As a UFC it works great. there is a little bit of lag between the iPad and DCS, but when you’re using the software you don’t really notice. 10/10
The developer is also adding additional systems to the UFC to allow you adjust radio volumes, control exterior lights, electrical power, sensors, and engine cranking. These are extremely convenient and I greatly appreciate having these added to the UFC. I would like to see a fuel and interior lights panel for some added convenience, but I can rebind those to my hotas for the time being.
The systems functions that are being added still need a little bit of work. If you use the systems screens, make sure you preflight before you get too far into the mission. The switches don’t automatically match the jet when you load into the hornet unless you start cold/dark. It would be nice if the software could poll the switch status every once in a while to match the jet (if possible).
Addons get an 8/10 from me.
Overall, I’ll give this app an 8/10. It was well worth the money and the dev is doing a great job. Honestly, as it is, I would gladly pay $10 (or maybe more) for the app. BUY THIS!

Easy to install
The installation video makes installation a breeze. It couldn’t get any easier unless they installed it for me. The app works well and will be the perfect UFC for my budget simpit. I haven’t tried it in multiplayer yet but hoping it works there as well.
Nice little app and interface control
Downloaded this app once it became available for the iOS. Does not disappoint, intuitive and adds to the immersion. Helpful tech support via discord as well
