David's voice in Psalms w/ audio is excellent!
On another note, would you please include a newer Bible version called the Evangelical Heritage version, EHV? It has recently been translated from the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek and is now one of the best translations in English.

Of course! We've actually kept all of our recordings from Bible.is, although they might be prioritized differently for the time being. But I agree, that David recording is one of my personal favorites too. I have passed your request for the EHV Bible version onto our partnerships division, thank you for the suggestion!

We will look into ways we might make the chapter header more visible, thank you for the suggestion! -------- Thank you for the feedback! When you have the Bible open, you can move to the next or previous chapter by swiping left or right, or by using the previous/next buttons in the player. To jump to a different chapter or book, the header at the top and center of the page is a button to the Bible contents. Tap that to go directly to the book you're on, and from there you can scroll to a different book. When the Bible is open, that header button at the top of the page should actually show the book and chapter you're in - if it doesn't, please let us know. I hope this helps!
Excellent on ipad
Unfortunately it doesnât allow me to change Bible on iphone. Hopefully this problem will soon be remedied. Fortunately it works on Android phone.
It would also be nice if it were possible to copy and share verses.

That is indeed a rather serious bug for the iPhone that we're looking into right now, and will have fixed in our next update, Lord willing. The ability to share verses (and copy by the same means) is planned to be added soon to the app!

Thank you, and we might just do that - the current English Bible prioritization is only supposed to be a temporary measure anyways, as we fix problems with the audio syncing in one of the Bibles. In fact, ALL the audio from Bible.is is still present in Hosanna, and by God's grace we're adding more every week.

Thanks for the feedback! We do have the same dramatized audio Bibles as Bible.is, but if youâre using the ESV, you might not be hearing the recordings youâre used to. Our other ESV audio is currently near the bottom of the English Bibles list, while we fix an audio syncing issue. Sorry for the confusion!

Playback at a select verse is iffy

Thanks for letting us know! Tapping a verse to begin playback should work consistently. Weâre currently fixing an issue with some Bibles where the data connecting individual verses to the correct point in the audio can be inaccurate, so different verses may behave differently. If for the exact same verses, you're seeing it sometimes work and sometimes not, though, weâd definitely like to investigate. As a first step, you can try removing the downloaded Bible and downloading it again. If the issue continues, please contact our support team and let us know which Bible youâre using and, if possible, an example verse where this happens.

Bible.is will remain available at least through the end of the year, and weâll continue improving Hosanna both before and after that transition. One of the main reasons we built Hosanna was to give us a better foundation for improving the quality and reliability of the app over time, and we know there are still areas where the new app isnât where it needs to be yet. In this particular case, as you found, the ESV recording you were used to in Bible.is is still available in Hosanna; we temporarily moved it lower in the list because of a verse-timing/highlighting issue that weâre working to fix. We realize that made it look like the recording had been replaced, or that the ordering was a mistake, and weâre sorry for the confusion. Once the issue is fixed, we plan to move it back up. If there are other areas where you feel the app is poorly designed or where the quality isnât where it should be, please let us know. We genuinely want Hosanna to be a better experience, and feedback like this helps us identify where we have work to do.

We're sorry you're disappointed with the app. We are working to bring all the functionality people value from Bible.is into Hosanna, but in a way that is faster and more reliable than Bible.is was. In the meantime, please send us a message if there's anything in particular that you prefer in Bible.is or find less preferable in Hosanna.
Lacking the best features

Thank you for the feedback! Hosanna does already auto highlight/scroll through the text as the audio plays, for the same Bibles that support this in Bible.is. (If you use the ESV Bible: we've deprioritized the version you're used to using from Bible.is due to some bugs with that Bible, but we are working to bring it back soon. The current version lacks the features you miss in the Old Testament, but it did in Bible.is as well.) The Bible versions that support auto highlight/scroll also support "play" from a verse by tapping it. Lastly, we are working to get saved highlights and annotations in the app soon, and thank you for your patience!
