Hot Kup
The cup heats good, but the app is terrible..my first cup lasted a month, but the company replaced it. But getting the app to work is not great. This app needs work. The app is too slow to respond.
App doesn’t work
The app bypasses setting up an account so there is no information ever saved. Second, without the $40 optional battery it never saves the temp you program. You always need to put it back onto the plugged in base to keep temp. Also since the app doesn’t save your info - you always need to put the temp you want your mug back in. I want this to work and it does when you put it on the base but without saving your info along with saving the temp you want it is useless.

App Not Working!
First of all the HotKup comes with absolutely no charge whatsoever. The second thing is the app only shows “Connect to device” and has no other options to bypass this page. So it’s impossible to set up account.
I wanted to love this heated mug since I take long trips weekly. But it’s starting out shaky. Hopefully I can figure it out and the app comes to life. I will update my review if I have better results at a later date. I’ll definitely keep trying. I really want this mug to work.
