Very useful app
I read lots of different articles from lots of sources every day. It’s great to have HotMacNews alert me to interesting or breaking articles automatically. I can then open the article directly or just ignore the publication. If you follow Apple news I have found noting better to bring it all together in one place. It is always great to get the news I need in one app!

Fine...except that the app stops my iTunes from playing
Can u fix this? It stops iTunes from playing music even though none of the linked apple news sources have background music or videos playing....

This was not our bug. It was a bug in iOS which Apple has fixed over a year ago. Can you please update your 1 star review as this is hurting our average. Thank you, Jeff

Can't restore in iOS 7
When clicking "restore purchases" a pop up box to enter email shows up but the keyboard doesn't! Please fix

Thanks for a great app to keep informed of news and updates for Mac, iPhone and iPad, as well as other technology. Easy to use and navigate and best one-stop source for info on all my devices, and new and upcoming releases of software and hardware.
Lacking or not new news...
Tried several sites, always seemed like the news wasn't new. I kept thinking that I might b missing something but wasn't able see what the allure to this app is.
Odd use of notifications
Honestly, I find that I never look at this app, and the only time it has sent me push notifications were for two things: 1. For the last WWDC it sent notifications; 2. It sent notifications tonight to tell me it was updating itself.
Other than those two things, there have been no notifications at all.
For these reasons, I am deleting the app.

Upsell fever!
It's a decent app, BUT it's pestered me with its "upsell" routine one too many times now, and without providing a way to turn that off. Downvoted by two stars. Deleting.

Latest update 2.9 seems to have fixed a bug so you can search sites from the scrolling drop down box have have some emails from jeff after I reported and he advised me on the changes due to fix this thanks
