About
Open Hour and you get one thing to do. Not a list to triage, not a feed to scroll - one small, real, doable-right-now thing for the next sixty minutes.
When the hour is up, or you mark it done, you get half an hour to yourself before the next one arrives. There is nothing to organise and nothing to fall behind on.
WEATHER DECIDES
Hour looks at the weather where you actually are and picks accordingly. Rain gets you a window and three words for the sound of it. Sun gets you outside looking for something you have walked past a hundred times. Cold, wind, snow and grey each have their own.
The whole screen changes with the sky - and with the light. Dawn pulls gold, dusk pulls rose, night goes deep indigo. On a clear afternoon it is lit like one.
ONE THING, NOT TWENTY
One thing, not twenty. The restraint is the point: offering exactly one thing is what makes it possible to actually do it, rather than spend the hour deciding. If the task genuinely cannot be done where you are, you can trade it once - but only in the first minute, and only once an hour, so it stays an escape hatch and not a shuffle button.
The tasks are small and physical or quietly reflective. Nothing needs equipment, a destination, or anyone else. Step outside briefly. Write one honest sentence. Call someone. Notice something.
BUILT TO LEAVE YOU ALONE
No account. No sign-in. No streaks to protect, no history to review, no notifications begging you back. Everything stays on your device.
Location is used for one thing only - reading the weather where you are - and declining is fully supported. The app works exactly the same.

What's New in Hour
1.3.0
October 27, 2026
A tidier top of the screen. - The place now sits above the temperature and weather, both lined up on the right. - Tasks are centred on the screen. - Smoother updates: Hour asks before restarting into a new version.
