What's New in Hourbook
1.4.7
October 28, 2026
New in 1.4.7: • Combine entries: select entries of the same day and combine them into one from the menu. The combined entry takes the project and start time of the one that started first, and the lengths are added up. • Clearer project cards: bars fill with the project's completion, and a red line shows how much of the hour or day budget is used, for each phase too. A legend under the bars says which is which, and red always comes with words, such as hours over budget or days late. • Every phase and deliverable shows its hour budget (your own or automatic), the time spent and its weight: how much it adds to the project's completion. • Phases follow one another by default and show as one chain on the day budget bar. Deliverables are joined to their phase by a line, and when you deliver one, you see it move its phase forward. • A late deliverable says what's wrong: its due day has passed, or its phase is running behind. • Add a task from a project card's, phase's or deliverable's menu: the form opens with the project and phase already set. Tasks show in the project's list. • Add from Calendar now works without sync: added tasks follow their events until you change them or tick them off, and a line under each row says whether it still follows its calendar. A calendar task you delete doesn't stay in Deleted, as the event is still in your calendar. • Fixed: entries added from Calendar could disappear when the app was closed, a work calendar turned back on brought no meetings in, and Add from Calendar didn't show the events of a work calendar you had turned off. • A row you edit opens its day and folder, so you see where it went. Ticking a row off no longer moves the list. • An archived project's card shows when it was created and archived. • Plus fixes and refinements.
