Probably one of the worst dating apps. So poorly designed. I’m 22 years old mostly being recommended men in their 50’s with no feature to adjust age preference? Also takes a lot of time to refresh through profiles, often recommending the same profiles constantly even if you press the X. Don’t waste your time, stick to tinder

Soo Slow!
Tried this, had a few matches, but you couldnt strike a convo! Messages took days to be delivered! Like they were delivering them via postal service! Wasnt cheap either. Then without warning they delete ya profile when sub expires with no warning or message to remind ya. Cant log back in, have to start a whole new profile, losing any contacts! Useless app, do not bother NZ! Typical Aussie scam.

A fantastic app for country singles! Much better than the mainstream apps, the connections are real and genuine! Easy to use and worth the subscription!

Every time I open it I’m locked out, I’ve reset passwords each time and am just over it. Worst part is I can’t delete the app.

As someone who’s legally blind and living in a regional area, Howdy Dating has honestly been a game changer. The app is easy to navigate, genuinely accessible, and clearly designed with real people in mind not just city users. I haven’t found “my person” yet, but I’ve made some great connections and had meaningful conversations along the way, which is exactly what dating should be about. It feels welcoming, inclusive, and far less superficial than other apps. If you’re regional, value real connections, or need an app that’s actually accessible, I can’t recommend Howdy enough.

The city needs the country as much as much as rural folk need someone to Love. A great idea by Mia to allow people to access what would otherwise be rather difficult! The app works just fine & I the name search feature is a thoughtful add on.

The app is really simple to use! Having a platform to meet other country people is great and I like that you can set your profile to view others really far away, it’s a a great way to expand the social networking range

Love the features of searching Australia wide or within XYZ radius. The conversation prompts to help break the ice when you match. Love the “active” now feature to get alerts when someone has “gone for it” on matching with you - giving you the chance to see a profile you might have overlooked. Search function is amazing! (Turn it on!) have had great success with dates and made some lifelong friends at their singles events! Get on it! 🤠

Has potential but got locked out after a week or so
I like the idea of this app and people seemed genuine but even after paying for another few weeks, it locked me out of my account and seems to have deleted my profile without warning. A little tricky to see who has actually liked you without following the push notification too. It has a growing number of people so it still seems to have a promising future
