Fun game, Terrible app
I’ve played Howrse since 2010. When the mobile app launched I began to use it regularly as it was much more accessible than constantly sitting in front of a computer, you could open the app for a few minutes and perform a few tasks in the time you had. Not everyone has the opportunity to spend several hours in front of a computer everyday, and that’s how a mobile form of a game can increase accessibility. However, the app recently went through a “redesign.” The app is now the desktop website, on a 5 inch touch screen. There has been no adjustment of text or proportions to tailor the desktop layout to a phone screen. Text is tiny, and attempting yo press buttons without zooming in is impossible. Every page requires you to zoom and scroll in order to perform basic functions. This causes great eye strain and reduces accessibility. The app is very poor and nearly impossible to use.

A Review
I love this game. There are so many different kinds of Horses. From many breeds of horses to even more breeds of ponies, Draft horses and even two different breeds of Donkeys. This is a wonderful game. Btw, there’s also unicorns too.😊🙂
Not that big of a fan
I don't know why it needs my parents email and my parent will probably not agree to that but if i got to play then i think it will be fun but the horses are really cute and the creators did a really good job making them!
App not good
The newest version of the app is horrible. It does not function as an app. It does not fit phone. Everything is too small and it's super hard to navigate. It's essentially the desktop version of their website which does not translate to an app.
Hi I have problems with it
Hello I have had this game for a few months and I haven’t had the chance to play it because it says I need internet even if I have every bar I can get. I really want to try it but I can’t 😭. I wish you could help me to play this it seems so fun I it looks so fun and all the reviews say it’s awesome but I can’t try it so I feel left out please help me with this problem I was also told that it would be fixed but it was not and yes I used the same review and added more but I just wanted to let you guys know about it in case you have the same problem and it was not fixed and it sad now cause I cannot play it so idk what to do bc it was not fixed and I’m not being mean or trash talking the crew I am just letting them know hope you can actually fix it!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 thank you for listening

Please return to vertical app layout
I love this game, and using the app was really nice for me since I use my phone way more often than my computer. But now the horizontal layout has made the app virtually unusable. Please at least give users a way to toggle between vertical and horizontal layouts.

after +3 years of playing i can honestly say this game has a hold on me. it scratches all the itches i want in a game

I love the game but I haven’t been able to play it because it wouldn’t let be sign into my account and I was only off for a week because was on a trip with family but over all it’s a great game. 😋

New mobile version sucks
I love this game and have been playing it since 2009. The summer time is when I mainly use the mobile app as I live out of a camper for seasonal work. This new update has made it completely unusable for me. Unless you have an ipad, it is the most asinine design for phone users. Will continue using the desktop version, but shame on the people who tested and approved this. We hate it.

I love it but there are problems
I absolutely am addicted to the game but there is one big problem. I hate the new look to the game and the new arrangement. I deeply hope you can fix this. It is very ugly looking. I’ve been playing this game since a few years and you just killed the game with that new version of the app ! I’m not putting any more money in it, I’m quitting the game …

Horrible.
I’m not someone that comments around or leaves reviews but what this game has just done to its long term players, heck all payers actually, it’s app, it’s history… I’ve played this game for just under 20 years, almost as long as it’s been around and I’ve stayed for all the changes, overcharges, and general issues but this new update is just a bridge too far. Shame on you Howrse, it is basically unplayable now, horrible.

App Non-Functional
Would have liked to play, but the app wouldn’t function to even let me make an account. Needs to be fixed.
Ruined the game
The new update makes this game unplayable! So sad that they’ve killed the game so swiftly and with no mercy, the players have been giving constant feedback for DAYS and we’ve heard nothing. Also doesn’t help that the main communication channel is on discord when many people can’t join on discord. I miss when the game was actually functional

New version is horrible
The newest update to this app is awful. They went from a great mobile version that was easy to navigate and see, to basically putting the desktop version in landscape mode. If I wanted to play the desktop version, I’d go on my laptop. This new update has made it nearly impossible to play on a mobile device. Everything is so small, you have to zoom in and scroll around to be able to select the right thing.
