Howudish-my new fav quality app
Very very nice app. The search is very effective, the app is a community in its own. The non premium version is also very useful. I think you can achieve a full user experience by allowing the user to enter the number of people and the quantities changes in response.

A fun & creative way to connect!
I really like the idea behind this app and think that it is a creative way to connect with others over food and cooking. I am a foodie and absolutely love connecting with others over this shared interest. I do not have a lot of people in my life that I can share this passion with and think it is a brilliant idea to help others get connected over this interest. The app itself takes a bit of time to load which can be frustrating but it isn’t anything that would make me stop wanting to use it. I like that the sign-up process is quick and that it asks for the users permission for things like tracking. I do think that the profile setting should have an option for those who do not identify as a male or female, this could potentially drive away some users.
The “yuummmm” feature on the app is adorable and it is a cute and creative way of liking someone’s post. It would be nice if there was an option for a 7-day free trial for the paid version. I would like to be able to see what I am getting myself into before making the commitment of paying. I am unsure if this is an option or not for the paid version, but it would be cool if you could see if another member is active on the app while you are using it. Overall, I think this is a fun app and could definitely see myself using it as a way to connect with others in my area.

Fun and easy to use
I really love the idea behind this app. I love trying new foods from all over, and this app makes it easy to do just that without having to travel anywhere. The app is easy to use, based on the very familiar swipe left/swipe right concept from other apps. I really like having a whole community full of recipes, tips, and tricks/“hacks” at my fingertips and being able to connect and bond with people over foods. It’s also easy to create your own cards to share with others. So far, I’ve not had a single bad experience or issue while using the app so I have no complaints at all. Definitely recommend downloading this app if you love food, fun, and community!

Foodie Connection!
As a self proclaimed foodie, there is nothing better than browsing delicious recipes and cooking hacks. HowUdish gives users the opportunity to swipe (yes, in the same was as in a dating app!) through tantalizing food pics and helpful food tips. In my personal life, I surround myself around food content through Instagram, TikTok, TV and more. HowUdish exposes me to types of food and recipes that my social content may have not curated for myself. I enjoy how each dish is truly new and it does not feel as if an algorithm is trying to figure out which cuisine I am in the mood for. It shows me everything!
One feature I would propose is to focus mainly on recipe content. Recipes are accesible to all, whereas restaurant pictures are not as useful to somebody who may live far away from that destination. While I’m always down to view a delicious looking meal, I’m more likely to not save it or like it if the location is not feasible to travel to. All in all, I’m definitely swiping right on the recipes and would love to see more of those so I can connect with other at home chefs with similar palates! Excited to see what this app will do next!

I’m always looking for new apps to use especially if it involves food!!! Came across this app on the AppStore and I was skeptical at first whether or not I wanted to try it out. The app is very user-friendly, modern-looking UI design. Not only does it let you upload food photographs but you can also chat with other foodies!!! Download this app if you’re a person who likes to explore other foods while you can chat with other food lovers out there. 👌🏻

Fun and informative!
I love that they incorporated social with food. Super fun way to find new recipes and get feedback on yours. Also nice to have an appropriate mode to share food, rather than just sharing to your typical social media feeds.
A fun concept on Social Apps
We live in the era of social media as well as social apps. While HowUdish fits in that category it does so in a unique way. This is my first time really seeing an app have you match or interact with people based off of food. HowUdish takes your culinary tastes and helps you connect to people who feel the same. How you interact afterwards is up to you.

Must have for foodies!
I love love love the idea of this app. I usually take to Pinterest for recipes and hacks but being able to get them from someone who I could build a friendship with is the best! The first thing I noticed was the quick and easy profile setup. Creating cards is super easy they have a template for you and you just fill it in. The only downside is having to pay for a membership to interact with people. It’s $13-17 depending on the plan. There is a 3 day free trial period at the beginning of both plan options. If you’re a foodie and want some foodie friends this is the app for you.

It’s really an incredible useful app that allows you to search dishes based on location that matches your diet needs. I’ve found similar apps only to direct me to specific diet only restaurants but HowUdish allows you to go to all restaurants and make them fit within your diet. The swiping feature is very nice and helpful especially if you need recommendations.

Very cool and fun app to use!
This app is amazing with great features. It allows you to meet people who also love to try different food. There are plenty of food that looks unfamiliar that anyone would love to try to make because of its easy recipes. Various different food cards are available that seem very interesting! It also allows you to capture food snaps and upload them so that other people can see it. There are many recipe tips and tricks that are very useful. It would make your life much easier when you are cooking for yourself, family or friends. I would highly recommend anyone to download this app especially if you are a huge food lover and

Good Idea…
But lacking a little oomph. I will admit that I’m not much of a foodie, nor am I much of a cook. That may be part of why I didn’t fully enjoy this app. I think for people who are both of those things, this app would be something much more up their alley. In the amount of time that I used the app, I never got any matches. I think this app is a good idea, but I think it has so much more potential!

Love the concept of seeing what other post. There are some great recipes and people. The only thing is that this app feels like tinder but for food, which is a cool concept but then you have the “yumm” button which feels like Instagram. I think there should be 1 concept and not multiple wrapped into one.

Great food sharing idea
This app is a unique way to create dishes that goes beyond just finding a recipe online. The ability to see a picture of someone’s final dish really makes a stronger connection to that person and their recipe.
My favorite feature is the ability to add tips and tricks to cooking. The app could use some functionality work as it ran a bit slow on my iPhone but that may just be because I have a 7+

Best Concept for an App!
Honestly, I’ve made a lot of friends physically because of food, so I was excited to try this! I gave myself some time to explore and see how I could work the app. I love the fact that you can look at the different foods right when you log in. It really gave me some food ideas, especially since I love cooking.
If I had to point out any issues, there are only a few. It’s hard getting to the different options. Most apps that are similar would have a navigation bar at the bottom, so that is the most critical issue. Other than that, the option to do most things is limited without the package. WHICH IS OKAY because that’s actually normal for these types of apps and that’s how most apps are funded.
I think I’ll continue using this for food and recipe ideas since it’s right up my alley!

Great way to find friends thru food
HowUdish is a great way to find people that love food and know what good food is. I can’t wait to see the new updates and how the app grows.
Simple and Easy to use!
Upload a photo, enter a couple of simple details, throw on some tags and hit create! Very simple and colorful design! And I love the swop right swipe left option! Also, it works hand in hand for freelancers who use up work! As I can easily use posts made here as references for my up work portfolio, as well as gain inspiration for new work!

A great idea with lots of potential
I love the concept of this app! Such a great idea to connect foodies and I hope it continues to grow. My only feedback would be that I found it a little confusing to understand at first, and had a bit of a hard time navigating it. I think establishing a walkthrough tutorial which highlights the different parts of the app in real-time would be a great addition when the user opens the app for the first time. I saw a wide array of veggie dishes, but one suggestion I have is to add a veggie filter where only vegetarian or vegan foodies can connect. I’m a vegetarian, and it would be hard for me to connect to a meat-loving match and have a lot in common.

Amazing concept and cool app!!!
I love the thoughts and ideas put behind this app. I find it really cool that you can create posts/cards about different meals or dishes you have made or weird combos you have created. For me as someone who is interested in learning more about cooking and discovering more dishes to create, I think this app would be perfect to improve my techniques and find new recipes to make. I find it interesting how this app is a platform that is like a mix of Pinterest and Tinder. You can swipe right on other foodies and make cooking friends! I would highly recommend this app to anybody looking for new meals to cook! I have had such a great experience with this app!
