HQ rental software

Great software and excellent customer service support.

Summary View Gone

Why did yaal remove the summary view (details) tab where you could see the synopsis of the reservation like balance owed, the time it was made, where it came from, who returned it etc ,the number of days the daily price etc etc That view was very informative as I don’t even get that from the browser version.

HQ rental app

The app « works » although it doesn’t have aloe of functionality outside of seeing some info. It lacks edit ability or reservations so any real work needs to be done via browser. It’s clunky and really needs a new platform.

The app should be able to do MORE

The app is easier to process pickup and return. Not being able to process security deposit is very frustrating.

Great

Great for my rental fleet

Definitely the Best

HQ Rental Software app is fantastic! It simplifies rental management with its intuitive interface and powerful features. Booking, inventory, and reporting tools are super easy to use. Excellent customer support, too! Highly recommended! 🌟

HQ rentals app

If you are going to have an app that shows availability and you can change the car hire days but can’t make a booking it’s almost pointless having the app!

Getting better

I appreciate the new changes. Please add manual payments to the app! Payment requests do not work for the elderly

Works but barely

You need to fix your navigation. When you click back the page swipes forward. It should swipe to the right not the left when you click back. So simple and such an easy fix but the developers never did any quality control on the user experience. Stop doing the minimum, it makes it miserable trying to figure out.

Worst if the worst

Avoid at all times. This company provides third world country software. Is so bad they can even do two branches. This is a company you will waste not only Ty our time but a lot of money lots of incompetence/ the owner don’t care about the bad service

Horrible Maintanance problem

I used to use Rentcentric before , it has really good maintenance dashboard to use for repairs , but HQ software does not provide it , you will never know when you need maintenance. Thats make to many bad feedbacks from customers , you rent car with maintenance light on and its not good for company. Almost 5 month I am using this system , they haven’t fix this issue , I believe they don’t even understand that how works

Love it!

I’ve been using this app for some years now and I can’t complain about the Hq team the are great. 👍

It does what It is meant for

Excellent product. They have fixed it a lot. Basic information at hand. Very convenient for pick ups and drop off

An Ongoing Experience

The app is a bit slow and has server connection issues often, but it’s still a lifesaver in the field.

The primary feature of interest is photo capture. PLEASE add the ability to press the volume button on iOS or remotely trigger the shutter with a Bluetooth or wired shutter button (like a selfie stick plugged into the headphone jack).

Not only is it inconvenient to have to hold a finger on the screen, it’s extremely hard to tell whether you’ve snapped a picture, as the only visual indication is a tiny number under your finger on the shutter button that increments by 1 each time you take a picture. When outside in the bright sunlight on my iPad where I take the photos, this is nearly impossible to see.

I want to implement a remote shutter button and put a sunshade hood over the screen to block the light. Please consider!

Will update review as things progress.
