Not Great
The app does not connect to my drone. The WiFi connects, no problem. I have an older model. The HS120D. It’s brand new to me. I got it as a gift four years ago and just started using it. I like the drone. Wish they could connect so I could some the video.

The camera works but app is slow and won’t connect with my drone

Cheaply made, calibration is just horribly awful, would not connect to GPS, tried for 3 hours, both controller and drone are trash, this was a birthday gift that I got and wow I don’t recommend any of holystone drones.
I am beyond upset, app needs to be taken off the App Store. No use to have an app that does not work. I recommend everyone to stay fare away from this, this tech is beneath me. What a waste of time your product was, I’m just going to stick with my GOPRO BLACK that “WORKS” 100% of the time. I gave to gift back the person and told them pls don’t every buy me holystone products ever agin.
They apologized, telling me that it looked like it performed well, KEY WORD, ya it looked. Buy a different drone you will be happier.
Waste of time and just aggravating on all scales and levels. 1 star you earned it.

Drone loss
We loss contact of the drone with the camera glitched frozen and it landed in a nearby pond surrounded with gators that chomped it to pieces. All in all the drone flys good except for the app.
Trash app
I paid extra to bring my drone out the country to catch some good footage just for the app to continuously glitch. It keep says calibrating over and over and won't let me fly because of it. Thanks for wasting my money. I would not recommend this drone or app.
Good but could be better
Only recently bought an HS110G GPS drone but have tried out apps for other drones.
What I don’t get is that the flight control joysticks are not present. Other apps allow full flight mode from app so don’t need remote control. Not sure if this is in product development schedule. Would be nice to see what planned improvements are in pipeline.
Also. On my iPhone 11 the app fills the screen making it difficult to see drone battery status and it would help if it was more like a traffic light, I.e. Green, Amber and Red as this would also be easier.
Will try the ‘follow’ buttons at some point and see how they work. Also, not tried the gps route mode, which looks cool.

Good drone, bad app
garbage app. The drone is decent quality and for the price (around $200) it worked really well, came with a carrying case, and was very good quality for the price. The problem is that this communicates with the drone over a Wi-Fi, and not Bluetooth. It has very limited range and just pulls the drone back when it gets to far, ignoring if there’s an object in its path. I’ve had to climb a few trees to retrieve it, the app isn’t horribly designed but it’s definitely not a 10/10 I’d rate the drone a 7.5/10 and the app a 4/10. Definitely a good buy if you don’t mind the annoyance of a crappy app.

HS120D App won’t connect
Cannot connect my HS120D to App. And the drone itself can’t get into the fly ready mode. It’s useless!

Please address the issue of the multiple “holy stone” apps on the AppStore. I don’t know which on to download.
Good app for drone control
Good app. Functions well with decent options. Used on HS 110G. Most of my control problems were with the drone not the app.

I have a HS260 and it’s not even on there
Only video and pic buttons work
Drone flys great and all controls in it work but only the video and pic works on app. It is linked through wifi and can see what drone sees but cannot use any features through app. No return , no follow. Nothing else.

I got this drawn the V one and I took it outside it was on beginners mode and I went to takeoff and it went up in the air and disappearedNo communication with controller after takeoff even tried to hit home button but after speaking with customer support just to report that it flew away they replaced it thank you so much holy stone you guy are the best thank you
