Prefer the older version
As the title says
So so app
Since the new app rollout a few months ago, this version is excruciatingly slow. Often I have to wait several minutes to an hour before successfully logging on. The app however is great once I can get access to it.
Sucks
No point in making an app if its going to suck so bad to the point it never lets you open it
Transfers are easy
I was overdrawn and I simply went in and transferred money from one account to the other on my app. Problem solved.
Passwords problems
Always cancels my password and does not allow me to reset.
New update
This new update is horrible! Can’t balance my account, half the time it doesn’t work and when it does I need to renter my pass word or change it completely.
Since major update
App takes forever to load, half the time it doesn’t. Since the update and refresh of the app, it’s been super buggy and constantly crashes.
New App/Interface is a Downgrade
The new interface is clunky and slow. Functions more like a webpage than a banking app. If it ran smoother and was visually cleaned up it would be better.
Downgrade
Recent update is a huge downgrade of an experience. Laggy, doesn’t load pages. Old app worked perfectly.
Latest update needs work
The latest update was clearly released too early. I get stuck in an endless loop of having to login with password, then verify through text or call with a code, all of this I do within seconds. Then, as soon as the code is entered I receive a notice that my session has expired and I must login again. The cycle repeats from there.

Cannot update the app due to having an older phone. Now I have no access to the app to check my banking and am not buying a new phone. Can you please make the app available for older phones.
Great app
Competes with the big boys. If you like banking with a local community bank I recommend them most highly. I’m not certain there are any services the national chains can offer that Home State Bank cannot
Worst banking app
HSB needs to up it’s tech game. I will be closing my account on the next business day! Constantly have to call to do anything. Zelle isn’t even an option on the app! You have to go to their website which is almost a clumsy as the app. Bye bye HSB.

A terrific app
A terrific app. Very few hiccups. Would be nice to setup repeating auto pay. (Need to do from website). And a few other tweaks will be fun when they get there.

Doesn't work
Ever since the update, this app has not worked
This app is terrible.
The concept is good, but it needs an update for bug fixes ASAP. The last 20 times I have tried to access my account I get kicked right out. It's frustrating and has been happening for over a moth now.
The bank should be better aware of the way their app functions.

Crashing
I never had any problems with this app until last week now every time I put in my password the app crashes. Very Irritating.
