Great app!
Great App! I use it for controlling my garage door with Homeseer and alerting me when the garage door has been open for different amounts of time. Also recently discovered I could use it to create Siri Shortcuts with my IPhone so I now can tell Siri to open / close my garage door in my car without taking out my phone at all.

This guy should be on homeseer’s payroll. Love his app very customizable. Love the history tracking of each device value. I would say it’s a must have
The perfect HomeSeer companion app
I love this app! It fulfills every need that the native app does not provide. It even provides Siri support which is badly needed. I would not have switched to HomeSeer if I couldn’t use Siri. Honestly I don’t know why HomeSeer does not include all the features that this app provides. This app had a few small glitches that have now been resolved. It is a very polished and professional app.

Keeps Getting Better
It seems every time I think about what would be a nice improvement to this app, the developer must be reading my mind. I really appreciate how it becomes more useful on a consistent basis.
Much better than HomeSeer Mobile!
Many more features, the developer is active and your dashboards won’t mysteriously disappear nor do you have to recreate them on every device!

I’ve only spent a few minutes with this app and I can already see that it completely blows HSMobile out of the water! Just the fact that I was able to connect successfully with a dns name instead of having to use an IP. I haven’t tried HTTPS yet but that doesn’t work on HSMobile either. And it looks like you have config backups working to! They should license this from you or bring you on as their mobile developer or something. They should be embarrassed at the quality of their app compared to yours. Thank you so much for creating this and keep up the good work!!

Best HomeSeer Mobile App!
I use this app exclusively for mobile automation and control of my HomeSeer server. I have tried several others but I really hate the very outdated blocky look and feel and endless frustration I had with others.
I’m looking forward to improvements and new features but it’s very very usable now!

Hello! Thank you for reporting this issue. I would like to look into it. Could you send a feedback report from the app with details on the device that’s not showing the image?
Loses configuration & edits
1) Keeps losing configuration. Widgets become status only at random (controls and buttons disappear).
2) After selecting “confirm before control” for a widget, and saving it, it reverts back to unselected when you try to use it, as well, it shows unselected when you go back to edit it again.

Hello! Thank you for your feedback. After reading it carefully, I believe you may be referring to issues with the HomeSeer Mobile app, and not HSBuddy. If that’s not the case, can you submit a new feedback report from within the HSBuddy app?

Excellent app, and with the recent release of HS3 touch that not only leave me without connectivity but also is forcing you to buy the designer software. This one is a truly alternative. Please work in multiple homes connections.

Hello! Thank you for your feedback. The latest version of the app supports synchronizing configuration to iCloud which should solve the issue you mention. If that is not the case, could you send a feedback report from the app?
Almost good
The one thing Homeseer needs is a good mobile app that is capable of tracking locations of devices. I love that someone has tried to do this and this app is far far better than the one HSTouch app by Homeseer. The problem for me is that even though it’s far better than the Homeseer app, it’s still not as good as it could be and I don’t think it’s that far off being amazing. The SmartThings app for example looks great and operates great and I think that’s just down to a nice clean interface and minimal clicks to turn devices on and off or run events.
By far the biggest issue is with what I think is this apps best feature which is the Geofencing (understood that this is in Beta however I think it’s the app stability that is the cause of this rather than the feature itself). The app will operate and track locations for a while and then just suddenly stop. You check the locations of the devices in the Homeseer web control page and find they haven’t updated so you open the app on the phone to see why and just get a white screen. Double tap the home button to swipe the app away and then reopen it and the location updates. I thought that this was isolated to me but I know of three people that use this with the same problem.
The geofencing feature makes things possible that just unlocks a new level to Homeseer and it’s the one things that’s missing compared to SmartThings. I feel that if these two things were sorted/improved, this would be an incredible app and I would go as far to say no one would have any issues in paying for it even.
Currently I am using SmartThings purely for the Life360 integration which tells Homeseer locations of devices which is a bit of a messy way of doing it however it works reliably but as you can imagine, I would love this app to work just as well to remove SmartThings.
In summary, the app is well worth using but just missing a bit of finesse to make it fantastic. Credit to the developers though who have done a great job with it so far and hope that improvements are made over time.

Must have
Absolute must have for any homeseer user. Only constructive feedback would be to try to eliminate or show a status when waiting on data. It let’s you completely control your house from anywhere in the world, but sometimes feels like it’s “hanging” when I know it’s just waiting on data from homeseer (like when switching from devices to events,etc)

Needs update for iPhone 10 and auto refresh
Works fine but for heaven’s sake please update the app for iPhone 10 screen! Also the status of things don’t update on the app unless you click on the refresh button.
