Pronunciation not working
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone but I just downloaded the app and the pronunciation function is not working on my iPad. It is up to date and all. I tried pressing on "pronounce word", tried holding the tab as well as going to practice and pressing on the speaker but nothing worked. Other than that, I think the app is pretty helpful.

The app is very clean but only has very basic information and functionality
It's just agreat app
Program is very useful, method is very interactive and fun and easy. Feels like you just play a game but your knowledge grows up day by day. Just one suggestion: try to learn every day, and would be better to write down new vocabulary after each exercise.

I have tried, as a beginner, to learn Chinese in various mediums (disks, books) etc. This app has proven by far to be the best way that I have used to date as a beginner. The layout is easy to follow and sequences are well thought out. I will gladly recommend this app to any novice (like myself) whom is wishing to learn Chinese.

Brilliant
I am learning far quicker than I had ever hoped I would. The app has a beautiful UI and the combination of reading, speaking and writing is great. The way the app works makes it very easy to take notes as you go which is another preferred learning method of mine. I cannot recommend it enough! I'm looking forward to being able to use what I have learnt in China this summer. Thank you!

Great language APP.
Intuitive curriculum. Compunding lessons that make senstence formation easy. I have lived in China 5 years and this program did a good job of filling in some gaps immersion didn't teach me.

This is easly the best Chinese app around. and i jave bought all of them. its so clear and easy to understand the grammer and you can spend hours pkaying this like a game without realiseing you're learning grammatical structures. i wish i had this app when i studied japanese. The only bad thing is, i completed the main lessons within 2 months after finishing the emotions lessons. i was shocked. i was wanting to pay for more lessons but couldnt find any. is that it??

Wonderful I love this app
I’d tried learning mandarin off of duolingo (which I use for learning Latin-based languages) but it wasn’t working. A friend suggested HelloChinese and it is great! Best features (of free version) are: - you can control whether the pinyin shows (and even the color of font) - character writing practice - the listening exercises are recordings on the street with native speakers. You get to hear a lot of different accents

Best language learning app I’ve ever had.
I am very honest, and I barely ever write reviews for apps. But this app will teach you chinese in almost every way. You will be taught how to correctly write characters with the correct stroke pattern, it will help you train your ear when listening to actual native speakers, and will help you remember words fast and easy. Ive only had this app for four days and I haven’t lost motivation at all! I always end up excited to come back and learn more chinese! I can now properly introduce myself, and also have a short greet and meet with others in chinese! I love how much you can learn for free! I will be recommending this app to friends. 5/5 stars easy!

I'm preparing for my HSK examination and practicing and remembering grammar was quite a challenge but thanks to this app I can get a really good practice in grammar and I can review then anytime with the short notes you have provided. It's very clearly explained with examples

Brilliant! More than I expected!
Fantastic ap, can't believe it is free. Great selection of tasks, was happily surprised that writing and pronunciation are also addressed, including assessment of tone accuracy. If I were to change one thing I would add the ability to swipe for the next point/question, but only because I'm lazy and it's easier!
