This App aims to give HSUHK students an all-in-one platform with different speaking topics to allow learners to learn English anywhere, anytime. By correcting pronouncing word and phrase mistakes, learners can improve their English language step-by-step for organizing the sentences in a paragraph. In addition, the App will provide a feedback mechanism to let learners improve and learn from their mistakes. By doing so, students can build confidence in preparing and presenting the context of a specific topic in oral English tests or examinations. *HSUHK students can enjoy the full version of SpokenBot by logging in with HSUHK email* *Non-HSUHK users will enjoy a lite version of SpokenBot (Non-HSUHK users can request a trial account to access the full version of the app by sending email to bdic@hsu.edu.hk)* Feature 1: Providing vocabulary and terminology in different topics for all learners [Non-HSUHK users are limited to 8 popular topics] Feature 2: Providing a paragraph-by-paragraph read-along exercise in different scenarios [Non-HSUHK users are limited to 5 popular topics] Feature 3: Providing a virtual question and answer section for learners to apply what they learnt in different exercises [Not available for Non-HSUHK users] Feature 4: Providing the latest global and local news headlines (news sources: RTHK, SCMP, CNN News), which will boost one's understanding of what's happening around [Non-HSUHK users are limited to 2 news headlines] Feature 5: Providing an integrated training program for learners to complete different exercises in a standard timeframe [Not available for Non-HSUHK users] Feature 6: Composing a report for learners upon one's completion of each exercise Feature 7: Providing highlights and/or feedback to the unrecognized words Feature 8: Motivating learners to unlock the badges by completing more exercises regularly
