It’s now completely worthless
The app is complete garbage. It is literally useless. The amount of money schools and organizations pay for this service is astronomical and this is the app you get for your dollars. Try to get stats now! Half the season shows and the last 6 games we played are not in the reports as an option to look at stats. Use the “try in new experience” and it’s a disaster. The old way you could at least see what you wanted to see if you were patient and careful what you clicked on. Now, the app is not able to be used at all. The whole thing is clunky. I don’t believe for a second that the 4 star average is legit. People are nuts if they think this is a 4 star app.

Waste of money
$13 for a game that is unwatchable. The stream just sits and buffers. Tried on my iPad, phone and Apple TV and same result. Wish the game was available to watch somewhere else.

Garbage
This app crashes, go to sections of a report that you didn’t click on and once you rotate the phone sideways and then back to vertical it loses the report information you were wanting. Clicking on any of the report stats to put them in order is awkward as hell. The pop up that describes what the stat info is hard to get rid of without accidentally clicking on something else. The app needs a complete overhaul to make it more intuitive to navigate and more functional. It’s unfortunate that Hudl charges schools and organizations a premium subscription price but delivers software that works and looks like it is from a free service.

My stats are WRONG
So basically all my stats and my entire teams stats are wrong and for some reason they decided to do the other team acting like those were us I WASNT ON THE COUST AND GOT AN ATTAKING ERROR THIS LOOKS SO BAD FOR COLLEGE NOW they said we were in serve revive WHEN WE SERVED
Waste
Have tried to live stream several games now. But every time, it streams for about 20 seconds then stalls for 10 seconds and locked me out of the game. I have to close and restart the app and try again with the same result. This is an absolute waste. There is only one device connected so bandwidth is not the issue.

Stop changing everything. Every time I login to hudl something changes and it’s progressively gotten worse. I can’t change teams in the app now and it won’t let me watch varsity film. Hudl is a joke

Tagging from IPad
Today, 08/15/2026 I just spent time tagging our high school football game. The app just dropped out at least four different times during my tagging. I was able to resume each time, however, when I hit the finish and uploaded into HUDL I got a surprise. I checked my data and four of my columns contain all zeroes as the data. The other 10plus columns have absolutely no data in them. I spent 15min following the A.I. Bot but none of the solutions worked. I am hoping I can speak with a live rep on Monday. As with some of the other Coaches who shared reviews, I have used HUDL for years and this is very disappointing. Hopefully they can listen to their customers and resolve our issues.

My app won’t even work on my I phone. Everything is updated (including iPhone software) , but I push the app and it just briefly flashes on and then it shuts off.
