Works great on iPhone, not at all on Watch
Apple Watch Series 4, it took a while to sync between the devices (powering down and on), and the lights sync nicely to iPhone movement, but not at all with Watch movement once I hit the play button on the Watch. At least it tracks health data 😆In iPhone, the ‘Sync Now’ with Watch also doesn’t seem to do anything.

Dancing the Night Away
The Philips Hue lights and their various compatible apps are one of the best investments I’ve ever made in my life. The simple presence of colorful lighting makes my space feel like home and an environment I feel happy in. Then I found out I could get my active minutes through dance synced to rainbow color changing strobe lights in my own living room. In my case I have the lights synced with my Apple Watch so as I dance, the lights continue to strobe and change color. Yes, I have a solo dance party every night and no, I’m not the slightest bit ashamed. It’s pure elation. I can only imagine how amazing this stuff would be for people who actually have friends or a family. I tried the free version of the app for maybe 30 seconds before I purchased the full thing. No regrets at all.
I have, like so many of us lately, have been struggling with depression and isolation. Something as simple as dancing the night away to my Hue lights has made a noticeably positive change in my moods and self-esteem.
