About
the world gets loud. hueku doesn't.
hueku is a cozy nonogram (picross) game made for the quiet part of the day — that hour before sleep when you just want to fill in a few squares and watch a little picture appear.
no timers shouting at you. no streak-fire guilt-tripping you. just numbers, a grid, and a small pixel cat named mochi who naps while you solve.
how it works
nonograms — also called picross, griddlers, hanjie or japanese crosswords — are logic puzzles. the numbers along each row and column tell you which cells to fill. follow the clues, and a hidden picture quietly reveals itself, one square at a time.
what's inside
a new puzzle every night — your "tonight's picture," ready when you are
classic black & white and full color nonograms
mochi, your sleepy companion, who keeps you gentle company
nights in a row — a calm streak under a moon, never a fire
comfortable big-grid tools — precision cursor, hold-to-peek clues, pinch to zoom — so large puzzles never strain your eyes
an optional bedtime nudge, so a puzzle becomes part of winding down
hundreds of hand-tuned puzzles, from quick 5×5s to deep, satisfying grids
good for
• unwinding after a long day
• a screen that calms instead of overstimulates
• brain training that feels like rest, not work
• anyone who loves picross, color-by-number, or just pretty pixel art
no pressure. no noise. just you, a grid, and the moon.
solve one. sleep well.
