About
Hugystories is made for parents of children aged 3-7 whose evenings turn into
negotiations: won't put the tablet down, afraid of the dark, whining at bedtime,
jealous of the new baby.
Explaining doesn't work at this age — a child either doesn't follow the reasoning
or pushes back. Inside a story there is nothing to push against: the child lives
through it and draws the conclusion himself. So we build a story where the hero is
your child, which makes recognition instant and saying the moral out loud unnecessary.
SAY IT WITH A STORY, NOT A LECTURE
Pick the topic — afraid of the dark, won't give up the tablet, too shy, starting
nursery — and get a story written around your child: his name, his age, his situation.
WAYS TO CREATE A STORY
• Describe the idea in words or dictate it out loud
• Photograph your child's drawing and watch the character come to life
• Choose from the catalogue: 28 childhood difficulties and 43 skills
• Liked where it went? Tap "Continue" and the story becomes a series
READ AND LISTEN
Every story is narrated, with text and illustrations following the voice, so the
child sees what is being read and gradually starts reading along. There are
background sounds, a sleep timer and offline saving for reading without internet.
NOT ONE STORY, BUT A PROGRAMME
For harder topics a single story isn't enough. The app builds a course of several
steps: each story turns the topic a new way, a short quiz sits between them, and a
diploma waits at the end.
FOR PARENTS
• Child profile: stories adapt to age and interests
• Progress and skills — you can see what stuck
• Achievements and puzzles built from story illustrations
• Settings behind a parental gate
• No third-party advertising inside stories
Hugystories is not a substitute for a specialist and does not diagnose anything —
it is a way to talk to your child in his own language.

What's New in Hugystories
1.1
September 10, 2026
Your child's story memory. The app now remembers what happens from tale to tale: new skills, first-time moments, and which characters became friends. It all lives in the profile and the Progress tab. The parent breakdown is more concrete: what to praise word for word, what to watch for tonight, what to say if it doesn't work out. Support is closer: quick questions about payment and packs in the chat. Small fixes and speed-ups.
