Stopped working with Google home

Stopped working with Google home. Has done this before but now it not letting me link the account. Not happy!!!

Not working

I have installed the app and the app doesn’t let me setup the wifi network
So it doesn’t allow me to use all app and the switches

Pathetic app.

Constant Login Fail and Network or server error. Takes forever or never to log in to your account.

Hard to control with google home

So I’m not sure if the problem is with google home or hui home. But the google home commands fail to turn in all devices. It may say “turning in 5 lights” but only 2 or 3 actually turn on.
When using the app on a phone it’s difficult to read longer names of devices or scenes.
Would be nice to have scenes activated by google home. Perhaps that would help with the issues.
Also would be nice to have lock screen widgets for the scenes.
It mostly works, a few bugs, but the biggest annoyance is the google home integration.

A nice start but still some polish required

Having fitted out my house with the smart bridge, light switches and Alexa the system is working well; however could do with some refinement to make interactions between instruction and action a little faster.

The instructions which come with each item are terrible and written in very broken chinglish. Luckily I bought these from a local shop and was provided with some assistance over the telephone. Without this I would still be scratching my head.

The apps user interface is terrible. Very basic. Apparently there is a new app due towards the end of February so my fingers are crossed.

Setup and automation of the system with Alexa was very easy. During setup time has to be taken between settings to ensure the app has time to save otherwise changes are lost and you have to start agaun(this is usually displayed with a tick which flashes up on the screen)

I have a sensor in my pantry which is quite frustrating as it takes 3seconds to activate the light (being a pantry most of the browsing is done and I’m walking out the door by the time the light is switched on)

*****************

Would I recommend this system? As long as the app is being redeveloped, instructions being written in comprehensive English and the general speed shows improvements over time I certainly wood.

If the system is not going to evolve from where it is now I would tell people to look at other options

Great potential

Sadly this app has great potential to be a powerful full featured interface, currently though it is a little clumsy and frustrating.
The limited features it has donwork well for me though, something I would like to see would be scenes stored recognised by amazon Alexa. Also sensor ono motion settings can not be triggered, which makes a sensor almost useless for lighting in home automation situation, ok for alarm though.
I hope they keep investing time in this.

Horrible App, unreliable product

In a nutshell: The app is very poorly designed. Not intuitive and excessively buggy. The products ZigBee Nue Bridge and Switch are not reliable.

The App:
- Registration:
The very first challenge is to get you registered. You have to send a verification code to your email. The code seems to be ALWAYS the same which raise questions on how they protect our data in the cloud. Next you will only be able to go to next screen if you hold the button ‘send verification code for several seconds until the next button enables so you can proceed.
- English translation: Terrible and unprofessional- e.g, instead of ‘Please’ it always translate to ‘Pls’; Instead of ‘Contact’ or ‘Feedback’ it translates to ‘Service’
- Once you create a scene there’s no way to delete it. You’ll be stuck with your test scenes forever unless you delete the app and reinstall.
- If the IP of your bridge changes the app will never be able to reconnect to it - lost forever! No way to have it to find again. You have to delete the app an reinstall it. Then it automatically finds your bridge again but it won’t be long till it loses it again.
- There’s a ‘defence’ mode that is all in chinese.

The Product:
- Bridge and switch were straight forward to install. The switch was easy to pair with the bridge once I realised I had to reset it - not in the instructions.
- Integration with Google Home was also straight forward and worked beautifully well, but in a couple of hours all fell apart. Out of the blue, the switch disconnected from the bridge. Never reconnected again. Had to reset it to factory again... How are we supposed to automate a home like that?

This product is still a long way to be consumer grade.

Scenes don’t get saved

Not a bad app BUT...
I set up a number of Scenes and Areas, and these worked really well...
Until I closed the app. When I re-opened it, all the Scenes and Areas were gone.
