HumanShape AR

HumanShape AR is an interactive application developed at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI). The app visualizes parametric 3D human body models and projects them into real-world environments using augmented reality. Researchers and designers can explore body shape variations, study ergonomic fit, and understand human-object interaction directly through AR. HumanShape AR was created for research and educational purposes to support ongoing studies in human factors, product usability, and digital human modeling.
