I wanted to use this to set recordings, but the app says the privacy policy has changes then just crashes out, needs sorting.

Would give this zero stars if I could. The app cannot connect to my humax aura box . Both on the same network but the app cannot find it.

Absolute trash app
Never update and now non functional and the website supporting also unavailable. Complete rip off. Do not buy Humax brand anything. They take your money then upgrade/support nothing.

Really should be removed from App Store now. No development for 4 years. No attempt to address issues like inability to connect to Humax device over (even local) network.

Pointless
A pointless app as it can only be used inside your own house on wi-fi. I thought I’d be able to set and watch recordings remotely, but this is beyond the app’s capabilities. Only useful if you sleep in your garage.

Will not connec
Can’t find the player as it says Theyvare not on the same network. Set up an account but can’t see it my network and there several hubs with the same name. Just needs to be ironed out. Reviews say it all.

Don’t bother with it. Programmes are pixelated and there’s no programme data.
TV Guide is non existent
I have downloaded and deleted this app so many times. Being able to watch live tv is hit and miss (mostly miss) but trying to get the TV guide is 100% miss.

Virtually useless!
Only being able to record when you’re already in the house is useless! Surely it’s not impossible to allow the app to access your recorder when you’re online or 4g away from home as the Humax Freesat App does???

Simply awful. Doesn't record or give information at all. Can something be called an app when it's not? They may as well post a picture of the chairperson's cat. It would at least look better on your iphone.

It’s like going back into the dark ages. Can’t find a search option in the TV guide. Very clunky - on a par with my Humax box then.
Humax is dead.
Once upon a time I would rave about humax. But since they brought out their latest players fvp4000, and that’s when humax died. It’s 2021 and this is one of the worst apps ever made. Remote recordings doesn’t always works. You can’t search for anything. Browsing the guide is a Frickin nightmare. The calendar is a nightmare to figure out-the day starts on current time???? Oh and it’s buggy as hell. Humax used to have a dedicated hardcore fanbase. Even those have abandon them now. Seriously Humax is DEAD.

Update to IOS 15.1 has fixed issue!
If you’ve been getting the ‘WiFi’ issue since installing IOS 15, update to 15.1 as this has fixed it for me. It seems it was an Apple issue with not detecting wifi, not Humax’s!

This app did work in the house. Haven’t used it from another location like the BT App which is brilliant. Now I’m getting an error msg all the time. “Turn on wi-fi on your mobile. Make sure your mobile and HUMAX device are connected to the same network”.
I only have ONE network. Usually when apple do their big yearly update lots of apps have to be updated, none from HUMAX. Why no reply’s from humax. Don’t they even look at reviews.

This app has been broken by iPadOS 15. It doesn’t recognise the network to which it is attached so cannot operate at all
