Great app and Developer team!
I downloaded this app for my two year old. I couldn’t get sound to work. I contacted the developer team and they emailed me back within a few hours and pointed out a setting I had overlooked. This is the type of support I expect when I need assistance. In addition, my daughter loves the app and has been randomly saying her numbers long after she has put her iPad down. Thanks!

Sound
I am working with my daughter to learn to count, and I was hoping there would be sound so she can get the number as she is matching it.

Simply check the MUTE function on your device - either in the pull-down menu or the button on the side of an older iPad. Today many developers have ignored the MUTE function, so those apps still make sounds even if your MUTE is on - so it could be switched on and you wouldn't realize it... thx!
Not good for iPad Pro!!
Really wish this worked on my iPad Pro. Doesn't scale to fit in the larger screen :(. I like the idea of the program though. Please fix it!!

Disappointed
I thought this app will let my kid practice counting by 5s, 10s, and just using the board randomly, but the app limits the usage to just counting odd and even number only. When using the random mode, only 50 numbers showed up for tapping... Super disappointed!!

Thanks for your feedback. Please see our Skip Counting app which allows children to count by 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, etc up to the 10s.
Great Simple App for Kids
Great simple app for kids. Colorful and inviting but easy to use!

I think I like this app better than my daughter does. Maybe she would like the "real" number board from school better. She has trouble with visual discernment and gets overwhelmed with 50 numbers at a time, even with the color sort. I like the concept but she's still not counting out loud and as fast as I would like. She's in first grade and has an extra chromosome. 💗

Great apps for any Montessorian
As a certified Montessori toddler, early childhood, and lower elementary teacher I have to say I absolutely LOVE these apps. The subtle music and sounds, and the calmness of the voices fits right into the Montessori style of teaching. Not only do I use all of the apps for my own son at home, but I also recommend them to parents who ask for "homework", or who want to supplement their children's Montessori education further.
I understand that some people find the apps too boring for their children, or feel as if their children aren't "stimulated" enough. Montessori education stimulates children by giving them accurate facts to work with, not by overloading their senses with bright colors and animated pictures, or loud music and sounds.
These apps are a great addition to the Montessori curriculum, presenting children with the original tools but in a more modern medium.

My son is working on the 100 board at school and I wanted supplement his in class work. It's so awesome to see him complete this. It may be normal for a 4 year but he's my first and I think it's awesome. Great app! I can't wait until he can do without mistakes. He's doing it without control now. Skip counting next by evens.

Great App!
I am the technology specialist at LES. I am in charge of finding great apps to support common core instruction in our K - 6 classrooms. This app is great! It is rare to find an app that matches up so well with many of the skills that we are teaching in the classroom. We use this app with our Kindergarten and 1st grade students. The kids love it! It has several different levels. You can fill in the whole hundred board in a smaller sequence or the whole board. You can also fill in just the even numbers or just the odd numbers. We use this in our math stations which require the kids to be able to work independently with meaning and this app fits the bill for us! Try it out for sure, and make certain that you check out all the amazing Montessori apps from this developer.

He’s been using the 100 board at his Montessori nursery however this is universal app that is great for all children learning their numbers and sequencing
IOS update breaks app
After iOS update the app does not work properly. Please update so it will work.
Do not buy this dreadful app
What a waste of money. It's unclear what you're supposed to do with this or how it will help. It's difficult to interact with. It's near impossible to see what sequence you're supposed to put down. I was hoping this would help my daughter to see the patterns you get when counting in twos, threes, fours etc. It can't even do that because it is totally restrictive about which numbers you're allowed to use. Thumbs down.

Being a Montessori teacher, I am excited about this app.
My only regret is the lay out of the numbers, there should be another section available where the child can pick by tens, 1-10,11-20,...
That would make it easier on children learning to use the 100 board.
Also an option to have the numbers said in various language would be amazing!

Accurate, but basically a rip off
This review includes the 100 Board, the 100+ Board, and the 100 Skip Counting Board.
We send all of our children (4) to the Montessori school and understand well the curriculum. The apps represents accurately what is presented in class.
However, it does not represent good value for money. All three apps are basically parts of the same program that is sold at full price for three times the price. When you consider the complexity of other programs, the cost / benefit ratio is not clear.
The apps, while useful, are not spectacularly designed given their exorbitant price.
I will be reluctant to consider any further purchases from this company without checking if there are recommended alternatives.

It's ok
I would like it more if you could build up to 100 or control the number to be achieved, ie count to 20. It would also be nice if the numbers scrambled after each game.
Informative, but not engaging
This app would be good for very young children. The simple instructions allow the game to be played by the child alone. I love that the app is true to the Montessori ideals of education meaning the child learns independently through inquiry. I would suggest that the app include options for feedback for students other than how many times the child answers incorrectly. For instance, possibly give the student a clue to what the correct number is instead of simply increasing the number of incorrect answers. Also, tell the child the correct answer after the child incorrectly answers. This is a great way for the child to receive informal feedback while perfecting their counting skills.
